How do you name your sims?

What do you guys do for last names? I always drew a blank on those before I used my junk mail system. And man, don't you wish you could change last names? Either you have an npc move in with a crappy last name, or you put something in the blank on CAS, make it permanent, only to think of a much better last name a minute later! I use boolProp to change first names if that happens, but the last names...Arg!!!!

You can change last names with JM Pescado's lot debugger or SimPE. I don't know what I'd do without those two things...lol

Last names elude me at times too, but I usually think of one I saw on a movie or like I said somewhere above, I think, I sometimes try to make up one that suits the family's status or personality.

I've got to break down & try this SimPE thing. It sounds so scary, but it seems to fix absolutely everything in the game! You don't know if, by chance, it can change eye color?

I have no clue about that. It may do it with sim surgery in there, but the only thing I ever use that for is to clone a sim I want to keep. I always use contacts if I want to change my sim's eye color. You still thinking about the loss of those alien eyes? I have some alien eye contacts that I got from mts2 a long time ago.

That, and a complete vanity issue. The simself Gillian made of me has brown eyes, but mine are green. I know there's no way anyone can even tell, but if I had a chance to change it, I would. I wish I had that simself in my body shop so I could keep a copy. She uploaded it with a lot for me. I've tried to copy it, but I don't come anywhere close. (as you can see by my current simself on my page - nothing like the one in the story!)

Jill, are you saying you have your simself in your game with green eyes, but she's not in bodyshop? If you do, I can clone her for you if you upload a lot with her in it and get you a bodyshop version to keep.

I'll just make a junk hood and place the house the house in it, clone the sim in SimPE for you and then upload her to the exchange for you to grab. That's all easily enough done. Unless, of course, you want to get SimPE and try it for yourself.

Jo, do you have to download contacts before you can use them in a mirror? Where do they show up - as jewlery or make-up?

You have to go actually download some eyes that are listed as contacts. I have a ton of them in my game. Then you find them in costume makeup, I think.

To go back on subject, I try to come up with different names (Ferris, Starla, Light) But with most of the guys names, I find them from someone else.
