Pulling my hair out!!

Oh man, it's driving me crazy! Wanna hear something stupid? Here I have been, sitting and waiting for windows updates to offer me service pack one so I can get on with my computing life. Turns out, hubby overlooked the fact that this version of Vista CAME with service pack one already in it! So... my Photoshop installation/run errors have NOTHING to do with not having it on the computer!

I was up until 4:00am messing with this stupid thing because I tried photoshop again and... It WORKED! ;D I was SO thrilled... until... I saw that I directed it to a foder called 'programs' but I forgot to type 'Photoshop' or whatever to make a folder so all the photoshop files were just loose in the programs folder. Easy fix, I thought. I just uninstalled Photoshop and then reinstalled it so that all the files would be in a nice, neat folder. Then...

The stupid thing went back to NOT running! I already told you I was up all night with the dumb thing. Let's just say it included a LOT of uninstalling, reinstalling, system restores, etc. No matter what I did, Photoshop refused to cooperate! Finally I gave up and went to bed.

This morning after grabbing a cup of coffee, I decided to try reinstalling again exactly the way I did the first time: with all the crap just loose in the programs folder and guess what? The silly thing WORKS! *sigh* So that means I just have to live with the idea that the files are scattered there if I want to be able to play with Photoshop and I do so... Let it be!

Well, the stupid thing DOES work, even though it's annoying because it's sort of a screwy installation...lol Although I'm starting to feel pretty ragged-out right now from lack of sleep.

Yeah I bet! I'm glad I'm sleeing ok at the moment, too much to do. Yesterday we cleaned up the room of doom (dd room) Today we tackle Mt Etna (Thats what I call my washing pile)

Then school was boring, except seventh period. In seventh period I have swimming, and it's always fun! I was really hyper. Charlie tried to put "Property of Charlie" on my hand, but I didn't let him. Later, I tried to put "Property of Sarie" on his hand and he got mad. Then I put "Property of Sarie" on Roby's hand. Brandon tried to get me to stare at him without laughing (which I can't do). Then he called himself a "sexy beast". That made me laugh harder. Brandon kept poking my sides and Justin kept giving me high-fives. After practice, Roby and I got into a huge 15-minute long splash-fight. When we got out of the water, everyone was gone. Then I got a ride from my friend's mom. My friends brother, Ben, was really annoying. He kept talking about how much he had to poo. He's a year older than me, so it was kind of awkward. Then I got home. The end.
