S3 Cloned Items?

I have heard that any cloned items from oringanal items, Are The BAD Items, that are making Nieghborhoods go blue!

I've been talking to creators, and modders, and they all say the same thing, but they are working on a FIX to all problems, so using Zero CC is a good thing for the next 2 weeks.
Ea is coming up with a patch to Fix the slow Lag, and Modders are coming up with a ton of Fix its!
Just wanted to share what I have heard so far!

If you would like I can tell you the bad CC from the good CC!

Hey, thanks for posting this, Lynda! I don't have any cloned objects in my game yet, nor do I have WA, but I'm sure everyone who does will find this very useful.

Even though it doesn't involve me because of my lack of the expansion and cloned items, I find it very interesting. EAxis always has to screw up something with these EPs.

This is why I LOVE to just sit back and watch the drama unfold, happily playing along with my current game until the bugs get squashed.

Your right Tina, it is a mess, and on top of it, is the fact that the new EP erases the old one, so all pics that you had from the oringal S3 will be deleted unless you did what I did and back them up on PB!!

I only had the 1 neighborhood that I had to delete, so I'm good, but most people only work on 1 neighborhood at a time, so allot of simmers have lost all builds, sims, ect. And they didn't put all there sims, and build on lets say Mediafire, or any storage WS! So a lot of great builders have lost everything!

I have all CC backed up on MF, and all builds, so I have no worries right now, but my game is really SLOW!! Almost like you can't play it! But from all that i've read so far EA is working overtime to fix this issue!! Hands up in the air for that one!

This is why you should ALWAYS make a backup of your whole sims folder and put it on your desktop or somewhere else safe, outside the game before installing patches or expansions! You never know what will happen and that way you risk losing nothing if something bad does happen.

I know sweet heart, but if I don't have you screaming in my phone ear, I don't remember!!Q why does all my CC for S3 still work? I have 926 CC files for S3, and all work? I don't get it? My game is slow, but that's EA's fault, so why are people doing lists?

I'm thinking that they all put extra folders in the mod folder, and S3 EP can't read them!

I never seperated any of my CC and I don't have this problem.
The only problem that I've noticed is all the mods that I put in the Hack file, I redownloaded, and they all work just fine!!

All Plants work just fine, and all stairs, walls, outdoor plants,

Could it be because of a graphics card? Mine is awesome so I don't have all the prob's that most simmers have?

I have no clue about Windows 7 because I don't have it. Harley has a copy, though, and he says he likes it. I'm actually happy with my Vista right now. I'm used to it, and I HATE change!

I don't know why your cc works, Lynda. Your graphics card would have NOTHING to do with that. You have SO many things, maybe some are not working and you just haven't noticed it. Or, you just didn't get any of the 'bad' stuff.

You don't need me on the phone to remember to make backups and to remove your mods folder before installing. It's typed up all over this board and it should become a habit after a while.

Lynda, some of my CC was not working, & all that was,I had CC in sub folders, I took them out of the subs & now everything works,I have not had any trouble other than,loading the game & the patches, & thank you Tina, I know if anything does go wrong, I have my back-up folder on my desktop!
