This could go in the game room...but, I put it with the sims 3 stuff. 1.) Favorite animation of TS3? Baby Dance. Least Favorite animation of TS3? The 'accepted' marriage proposal. Right when the person being proposed to says yes. When they run. 2.) Favorite lot in TS3. I make my own...but if I had to choose, the Gym, just because it's awesome. Least favorite lot in TS3? All the stupid houses!!! 3.) Favorite Sim in TS3? Mortimer Goth, he grows up AWESOMELY! Least favorite Sim in TS3? Anne.Song. She ruins...everything. 4.) Favorite town in TS3? Sunset Valley, which I like a whole lot more than... Least favorite town in TS3? Riverview. o.o 5.) Favorite new thing in TS3? Open neighborhood. Least Favorite thing in TS3? NO PIANOSSS!!!!!

Very interesting stuff, Sawyer. Hmm, I don't really have a big list of hates/loves right now. I am bothered by the fact that there are no modular stairs. It takes away a lot of building options.

I hate that engagement animation too. I liked it in The Sims 2 where the chick jumped on the guy and he like spun her around or something. It was much more romantic than that stupid little jog they do.

ERGH. They look like the animators were freaking high when they did that! They take...what? 14 steps to get...three feet. Sorry, Tina, I didn't see your post. What are modular stairs?

Modular stairs in TS2 are the ones that build as you go, instead of already being a full staircase that you just put into place. The ones in TS3 are all staircases, although they do change sizes when you make them reach the ground from a deck or something.

I agree with almost all of that! 1) I love the baby dance, and the new "read to toddler". I definitely liked the old engagement animation better than this one.
2) I love the gym, as it's one of the very few lots in town you can actually enter and interact with. I hate that they can't enter stores, etc like you could in Sims 2. What I really hate is that there are no livable, swimable beach lots.
3) I love Mortimer, and plan to hook up copies of him with better breeding material than hook-nosed Bella. I also (as if anyone didn't already know) love Lolita Goth. I hate the way they made Bella look. That hooked nose is just wrong! I love the ghosts being more interactive - even if you don't make them playable, I love that you can still talk to them, etc. I hope the mummies live up to the hype!
4) I prefer Sunset Valley over Riverview, but I don't dislike Riverview.
5) I too love the open neighborhood - being able to visit neightbor's houses is great! And I miss pianos, too! I sure hope they bring in more instruments soon! Guitars are fun, but I hate that it's the only option.

I agree with all the above, but there are things that IRK me BIG TIME! MY RANT: I hate the wast off time, when a Sim is in there road & they stand & tap their foot, how many times do they have to do it to get from one side of the room to the other? )I make the main living area as large as possible, but the Sims in each house hold all take the same rout so they keep getting in each others way! I hate that they say the same things ALL THE TIME, over & over!( I know it is the base game, but that is annoying after playing for a while!) I hate that the toddlers & children can not use the activity table properly or interact with each other while learning, & if they do the blocks on the floor they get no learning from the table! I also hate the bunny rug babies! they look like some strange worm coming out of a cocoon as they spin on the FLOOR to age!I hate that you can only age ONCE for each Sim with the cake, if you have aging off ! Grimmies two sets of twins are all the same age because of this! in-fact all my Sim babies/ toddlers are the same age in that one hood! I hate that a toddler will cry & throw a tantrum if a chair or couch or what ever has jumped out in front of them, this stops them from completing what they were doing! & what is with that stupid cutsie icon over their head when they silently cry! & wake the whole house so everyone gets up to lecture the crying baby! I could keep going............anyone would think I don't like the game, I think I do like it & the fact that you can explore out side of you own yard, but I do miss Sims2! did everyone get there FREE Halloween stuff from the store (No cost it's free!)

I played with my Lolita Goth last weekend for the first time in ages! I really missed her! Someday I'll get around to her story, but I have too many others to work on for now!

In the Halloween store stuff, there is a $1 reflective ghost, I have been using it as a mirror in my starter houses it works the same as a normal mirror except that the gussy up & check self out both do the gussy up action!

Oooh! That sounds cool! It's included with the "Halloween Treats" free download at the Sims 3 Store, but I haven't put it up in the game yet. I'll sure have to do it now!

I HATE that there are no vampires in TS3, and it doesn't look like there is going to be anytime soon.

I tried to grab mine last night, but the EX was some kind of borked. I'll have to wait till tomorrow. I would love to have pool tables back! Pianos also! I need something entertaining for one of my big Music / Game room! The thing I hate the most is that you can only build on certain lots, now that makes me Right now I installed 2 empty neighborhoods, both are Sunset Valley. One has just the community lots, and the other is completely empty. So far they are working out Great! I like them way better than the pre-made ones! If you all would like to have them, just let me know. I have 4 of them, For Sunset Valley theres the empty one, and the other one just has the business & Community lots. I also have the same thing for Riverview! I also have all the business buildings in a separate file in case I need them. Both neighborhoods come with a map, so you know where all the Vistas are, and also all the rabbit hole are Too! I just started yesterday on the Sunset Valley with only the businesses, so we will see how that one ends up! Like I said, I really like it this way alot better than the pre-made one.

I saw those hoods at MTS, I think. I actually don't mind the hoods just the way they are, although I haven't actually played in quite a while now. Sometimes I just lose interest in the game, both TS2 and TS3 for a while. But then I get on a kick and can't stop playing! I have a feeling I'm not going to be too crazy about the way vacations will work in the new expansion, unless there's something involved I don't know about yet.
