Looks like from the instructions there, that you need to make a Mods\Packages folder inside your sim 3 one. Then extract from your desktop using winrar. That's what I would try anyway.
The outfit looks to be the first on the clothes page Sawyer. Editing to say the actual link to the page doesn't show, but just click on the clothing link above your photo.

Watch it, Jo! Hehe.... I'm also wiser. So, what do you meav by, "Which one do you download"? For the clothing item, you click on the clothing link and when you get to the download page, you download both because that is a top and a bottom. (That's the only outfit she had, so you can't get confused...lol) Also, Jo is correct in telling you that you need to make a folder for your Mods/Downloads to put .package files into. If it is not a Sims3Pack file, the launcher won't install it and you have to do it yourself. Instructions can be found here: www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Sims_3:Installing_Package_Files

Ohkay, is it actually called Mods/Packages or is it Mods or Packages, or is it Mods, sub-folder Packages? Also, I was talking about the default replacements skins, they're in the default replacement page. That site is whacky, it never changes the url!

If you would just read the instruction page I linked you to, it explains it as easily as I can. Well Fudge! That site won't link directly to the page I want you to see either! It is a folder called Mods with another folder inside it called Packages. That is where your .package files go. Plus, and this is important, you MUST download the resource.cfg file the page links to and put it inside your core game folder (the one in your program files), or nothing will work. Link to resource file: chii.modthesims.info/getfile.php?file=927170I don't know what you mean by which one should you download. I would guess that you'd download the one you want.

He may mean which one Mods or packages should he used. I talked to him on AIM about that and I wasn't sure what the slash / meant. I told him it might mean a folder called Mods with a sub folder called Packages, which it sounds like it is. Or it could have meant name the folder Mods or Packages. They didn't actually say in the install instructions that came with it.

Never mind on the which one I should download, I'll just put in each one, see which is which. Thanks for your help Tina!!! And Jo! If it weren't for you guys, my game probably would have been blown to smithereens. BTW, I'm going to be gone for a while, Wisconsin, and whatnot.

The / when talking about things dealing with folders on computers ALWAYS means the thing after the / is a folder INSIDE the thing before the /. It's called a 'path'. It's like following a trail or a path. So whenever someone tells you to look in your sims 3 folder and then they tell you where it is, you may see this: C:/program files/my documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/ Each thing AFTER the slash is INSIDE the thing before the slash.
