So I have been doing all nighters, getting used to TS3, and here I am 4 in the morning with questions.
1) Where am I supposed to get an angelfish? On the TS3 website, it has where to get it, on some other neighborhood. Which brings me to the next question.
2) When you download something from the store, example is hair for young adult, will it come up as adult also?
3) I read over Jilly's Goth mystery thing, but I still don't get how you make playable ghosts.
Thanks whoever answers.

1) Go to the MATY link thread. You'll have all the hair, furniture, etc from the sim store for free. And those scummies at Maxis made MANY of the hair only for a certain age group, so you'd have to buy it for toddler, then for teen, etc. (unless you get it free from MATY!) 2) The playable ghost thing is a little trickier - I'm running late for work, so I'll pop back on later & explain that one. 3) The angelfish are only in certain water, and you need watermelon for bait, if I remember correctly. When you go to a lake, pond, or the ocean, you can select "inspect the water" and it will tell you what kind of fish you can catch there. Make sure to fish in a spot where you can actually see the fish jumping.

It looks like Jilly covered most of your questions, which is good because I only know the answer to number two. I read a post on the offical site where someone asked that question about hair. Elders, adults, and young adults all have the same hair mesh, so if you get one, it fits all those. The rest are all separate. Stupid, greedy Eaxis! Like Jill said, go to Maty and get all the stuff for free.

I'm going to try this again, first time I downloaded it, something went wrong. Some "dong' sound and a red circle about unreadable file or whatnot. It's saying 5 hours remaining to download it. I really don't think I can leave it five hours.

That sounds like a good idea Tina. I already have Riverview, so re-dowloading it is just a waste of time too.

It only took me a few minutes. It said 15 minutes, but it really only took about 5 tops.
OK, ghosts...I copied, pasted, and printed a whole tutorial from the Sims 3 forums on this, only to find out this "official ghost guide" was wrong! Here's what I found from playing. There's 2 different ways to do this, depending on where you get your ghost. 1) if you meet a ghost at the graveyard (anywhere but on your own lot): You have to make friends with them. I believe at best friend level, when you click on their headstone, you get the option to put their headstone in your inventory. Once you do that, take it home and put it in your yard. The house won't work. (the guide said to leave it in your inventory, but that doesn't work) After about 2 sim days, you'll get an opportunity to take the headstone to the science lab. For these 2 days (or longer if need be) make sure to always answer your cell phone, and to turn down any other opportunities you're offered, or the ghost one can't come up. Once you get the opportunity, put the headstone in your inventory and go to the science lab. When you come out, the ghost will come out after you, and will now be a member of your household.
2) if your ghost is a sim who died on your lot: You'll have to start your whole relationship over, as death removes all relationships. BUT - you don't need to establish a relationship with this ghost to get the opportunity. (basically, that's just to get their headstone, and since this sim already lived there, the headstone is already there) Make sure their headstone is outside, and then the rest is the same. About 2 days after the death, if you don't have any other pending opportunities, you should get a call from the science lab.
You can still have a relationship with, and interact with a non-playable ghost. Some people have even had babies with non-playables. (I don't know what would happen if you married a non-playable ghost, but I would assume they become part of your household at that point.)
If you want to bring a ghost all the way back from the dead, you have to make them playable first, then you have to get them to eat ambrosia. That's a whole other thread! Lol! I hope I've helped!

Thank you much! You are really into ghosts, huh? I was planning on making on of the Goths have a ghost baby, as it happens when his mama went into labor she was at the cemetary. Dun dun DUHH!
