Has anyone decided what your going to do when the kids start moving out. Are you going to keep Story mode on or off? I still don't know what i am going to do!!!!

I couldn't say, because I haven't had any kids yet! But... I think story progression will pretty much always be on for me. It's part of what I really like about the game, except for maybe some little stupid things.

I wish i could specify which houses follow the story mode and which wouldn't. i actually like the feature too, but i want to specify which houses follow that time line.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'd also like to be able to turn aging off for certain houses and not the whole hood at once.

It's also stupid how changing the active household wipes all the wants from the house you were playing. Hopefully an EP or a mod will be made so you can select certain houses not to age or go off and adopt kids.. or have kids. *Looks pointedly at certain simselves*

There is one... Awesomemod at Maty, but... I'm not ready to go that route yet, if I ever am ready...lol. The wishes thing doesn't bother too badly, but losing your inventory is ridiculous! My simself had some rare seeds, the 40,000 point collection helper award, etc in her inventory and it was ALL lost when I switched active households! I am sure hope that in a bug. So... watch out for that when you are switching active families.

They must realize people would be wanting to switch households. Great so all those seeds and books in my legacy family inventories would have gone too. So that reward, is that one of those things you buy with the want points? So they would have gone as well. *Head desk*

Yep. My simself acheived her LTW and I spent the points on it. It is a gadget that sits in your inventory. I was P'od when I saw she lost it! So.. just make sure to take everything out of their inventories when switching active households.

Oh a gadget, ok I haven't seen that. I spent Candy's on an author one. But that isn't an object. So I guess those rewards are still showing.

Oh no... they are definitely gone, Sawyer. I looked everywhere already...lol. LOTS of people are talking about how inventory items go missing when changing families. As a matter of fact, one of the things that JM Pescado's Awesome Mod does is stop that from happening. I'm just SO not ready to install all that stuff into my game yet.
