I took the kids to San Diego yesterday to go to the Zoo.
I came home and the Sims 3 was sitting on my desk...

Hey, that'st AWESOME! Now, maybe you won't 'hate' the game so much..lol! Or at least you can try it out before deciding you truly hate it.  I'm glad you like sim I made of you. Now all I need is to know what 'stats' you want her to have.  |

Yah Holley, hope you enjoy it. ;D For me TS3 will always I think be a side game. There are some great things about it, but hopping all over town trying to keep track of a household I hate and I still don't like how they look. But there is some really fun stuff in it too.

hopping all over town trying to keep track of a household I hate Yeah, that is one of my issues. i like it, but i only have two adults a toddler and a baby. What happens when the kids go to school, or work as teens. I can see me FREAKING OUT! |

Yeah this was one of the pre-made families, there is mum, dad, teenage son, teenage daughter, kid son and kid daughter! Madness!!

You can't control them while at school and work anyway and usually when they're done, they just come home on their own. I haven't had any children yet, but I sometimes like to set certain things up for them to do once they get off work. Then I'll go check on the others to see what they're doing, etc. I thnk it's pretty cool and it doesn't stress me out at all...lol.
Those moodlets are pretty cool too!

Well i keep an eye on mine at work too and depending on there mood, needs for promotion, change how they are working. You can have them work hard, take it easy, sleep behind desk, meet co workers etc. Same for the kids at school. Lets say I was hopping around from one place to another with my eyes closed!

Yeah, if they get too stressed at work I have them take a brake, or meet coworkers, etc.

Dang ladies, just let them go to work, school, etc as normal and don't worry so much about it! The sims in this game seem to take better care of their own needs without our assistance, so they're not likely to fall over dead while out of your sight.  A Laughing my ass off!! LOL... Jo, you don't have to hop around to change what they're doing at work. All you have to do is to click on their icon while you're still at home, or wherever, and change it without actually making it go to where they are. |
