Hey Jilly is your new chapter suppose to be showing yet? The first half has no pictures. It also needs an LJ cut. You tell it really well, interesting with lots of drama! But I need to go read a comedy now!

Oh hang on it's chapter 1 showing with no pics. You need to save it to privet if it isn't finished.

I sure hope that link is right! I have no idea how to do an LJ cut, so PLEASE school me! (and use little words!)
I was going to link the first 2 1/2 chapters back to the exchange, but lo and behold - it says I have NO STORIES THERE. Thank GOD I saved them in word. I went ahead and put the early chapters up without their pictures, so everyone could catch up. It's been so long since I updated, I thought some might want a way to look back. I'll eventually go back in the game, put all the early pics in PB, and then add them in at LJ, but I just don't have the time right now. I figured something was better than nothing!

Also, the chapters ended up in the wrong order, so if you're starting from the begining, you'll have to look to the list in the center left and go from there. Each chapter is labelled, but their order came out all wonky. I sure hope I get the hang of this soon! If anyone knows how to do the LJ cut, or how to change the order of the posts, feel free to shout out!

Are you using the HTML button Jilly? What I do is when I post is switch to the HTML, then copy and paste the pictures from photobucket, using the HTML link from under each picture. With my options set to large and high detail I get lovely large pictures up quickly. Do not use the 'upload picture button'! Once you have added your text. (I switch between HTML and rich text to see how it looks constantly) If you are using FireFox simply highlight all the post you want to hide and click the LJ cut button. Put some words in the text box such as Chapter here and click ok, or save or whatever it has there, I forget. Then save your post and it's done.

This is going to take a while to explain to me...what is Firefox?
I did use the HTML and PB - but I only put pics into ch.3. I clicked on the links to the ex in the first post of this thread, and the stories still show up. (whew!) So I made a new post at LJ, with those from the EX linked, then what I hope is a link to ch 3 on LJ.

I didn't see an option for an LJ cut while I was on LJ.

The LJ button is with the other formating buttons, like bold, underline, etc. It's between the Poll and Table buttons. It has three horizontal lines on top with a longer jagged line underneath.

You can also type in the HTML:
<lj-cut text="Read more"> at the beginning of where you want the cut, and </lj-cut>

Firefox is a internet browser.

Thanks, Guys! (and sorry for the creepiness, Jo! Lol!) I have finished writing chapter six, so I'm really anxious to get you all caught up to where I'm at. I'm thinking Tina's vamp, Lance (he won the vamp contest) might just get his own mini chapter. Last night while I was falling asleep, I thought of a really cool story line for him, so he might get a little more screen time than I originally planned. He'll be introduced in chapter six, but I'm thinking he'll end up as chapter 6.5 all on his own, too. Now that I'm learning the LJ thing, hopefully it won't be too long until you get ch 4.
Thanks for the LJ help - I hate it that it's so hard to find my posts - for me, anyway. Is that because I chose the tag "livejournal" instead of "welcome"? I just want to put something there and see it as soon as I go to my page. The page it brings me to when I sign in is a comment page that shows comments from the "welcome" thread, so I have to hunt all over to find my last post, and get there that way.

I'm on it! I'm glad you like it! After taking a very long Sims3 break, I'm glad I'm back in the groove to finish this up! I thought I'd go blind - searching all those stupid numbers on the pictures to put them up on PB! Lol!

You'll all be happy to know that I have put off writing ch. 6.5 for Vampire Lance, so that I could finish up taking the pics for ch.4. I've been snapping them all day, and since the chapter is alread written, hopefully I'll be able to get this one out soon.
