Jo's the go-to gal on the formalwear. She always has a million simselves show up at all her in-game weddings, and each one is dressed beautifully! I'm excited to see the wedding - I'm thinking a best man/maid of honor pair up may be in the works... |

Quick question, when you guys read Unforgettable on your side do the quotation marks appear or are they replaced by question marks? Ive been going over previous chapters and for some reason on my side the quotation marks are replaced by question marks and this annoys the c*** out of me and I don't know if it;s some setting on my browser or what?

The exchange does something to quotation marks and some other punctuation symbols when they are done in Word. Just another reason I hate the exchange. What is very strange is old chapters on there that were fine when I uploaded went to question marks later. My guess is they changed something yet again with the exchange.

& the new EX S3 is no better, every time I use '&' it looks like I'm swearing as nonsense ends up for symbols!

Ola everyone!
I know I haven't been here in a little while but I just wanted to let you guys know I'm okay, just focusing more on my exams coming up next week. So the next two weeks will be real busy for me and I won't be signing on more or playing the game. I'll see you guys after November 6th and hopefully by then I'll be in the right frame of mind to continue with Victoria & Storm's saga. I'm writing the last five of my English modules. Please keep me in your prayers. I really hope this is the last I have to sit for exams for a very long time. This year's been stressful, always felt guilty everytime I played Sims because at the back of my mind I knew I should be studying :-( If all goes well I'll be graduating soon and I'll have all the time in the world to play with my simmies without any guilt :-)

It's good to see ya Val! *HUGS* Those exams are the most important thing, even though they're no fun. Do what you have to do and just know that we'll be here when you return! That thing with the quotation marks turning into question marks is annoying! The did do something to change it that caused that. The way to prevent it is to go into your options in Word and find everywhere it says 'replace straight quotes with smart quotes' and uncheck those boxes. I can't tell you the exact path because it's different in different versions of Word, so you just have to poke around until you find it. |
