I'm not hijacking the thread, just replying to Jo,lol!
No Jo, if you did not make the patterns on your outfits(or they are not EA patterns!), they revert back to what the cloths were in CAS before you colored them, & if the person downloading does not have store stuff or the CC in their game it will not show up,that is why if you upload anything, in Sims3, that has CC, you have to install it first for it to show up, most of the Sims I downloaded were in 'Vanilla cloths!',Sim Jessie was the only Sim with CC, but she had a folder with the CC in it!But she did supply a 'Vanilla' version for those who do not use CC!
To me, it is a lot of unnecessary farting around on EA's part!

~PS~ Jo, I know you will ask, so, 'Vanilla' means the original game generated items,that came with the game, untouched!

I don't think simJo had any cc items, as I hardly have any for sims 3. They were just what I colourd in CAS. You can see them on my sims 3 page. Dark pants and a lilac top. Lol I do know what vanilla means.

Sorry Jo, I was not implying anything, just that I get asked a lot what I mean when I say 'Vanilla'

All the Sims I downloaded all came in 'Vanilla' outfits! yours was a plain mauve top & denim jeans, Sue's outfit was nothing like her pic, Linda's was plain mauve peasant top & jeans,Holly had a white top & denim jeans, but then My game was slightly a mess at the Time, I have now fixed that up! ;D

Everyone else I downloaded came in what they were wearing in their pics!

Some of the simselves were doing things when I called them home for the pics - some were working out, some were eating out, etc, so they were dresssed from what they were doing. That's why Sue & Sarie were in workout clothes, Lynda in her wedding dress, etc. I recolored Jo's shirt, but the rest of her clothes were the same.

I did end up building a house for 8 on the lot, and I hope to play another challenge there because it's such a great lot for bare bones skilling.

I'm glad you guys liked it - now you all have to finish yours! Lol!

I think when I'm done, I'm going to fix it up just a bit and then change it into a community lot... make real park out of it.

I am going to go back to the Sims 3 and finish that challenge, but i want to get a CtoF chapter out first. I think I am ready to start tackling that.

After they moved into the Super Duper Shack, I split them up into fours and moved half to another lot right across the street. Now there's no more than 4 simselves in a house & if they want to move someone in, they can.

My simself's ghosty boyfriend's headstone isn't in her inventory any more, so I'll have to see if it moved back to the cemetery (where I originally got it from) or stayed behind at Homeless Haven. I'll also have to fix up new Lynda and Buck, New Holley and Jebediah, and New Karima and Danza! I loved being able to change the names of the "imposters" so I didn't have 2 sims with the same names running around!

Yep, that's what I dressed my simself in because it's the kind of thing I would wear, but feel free to alter it. I was just curious if that is how she came across when downloaded or not.

I was going to make my lot a bigger better Community garden,with swings & barbeque's, etcetera! as the Fruit & veggies are all high quality with most in the Perfect or slightly lower bracket in fact my Sims have been harvesting the produce to plant high quality gardens just from the Homeless park!

That's why I wanted to leave someone there - I didn't want to lose that awesome garden. I just grew my first money tree, too! Does anyone know anything about them? It hasn't gone thru a harvest yet.

Yes Jo, those were the clothes you had. You came home in your workout clothes, too. I didn't realize that's what they were & tried to remember what you originally had on. By the time I changed it, I remembered it was just the purple shirt. You did still have those green & yellow bowling shoes, but I think they were your workout sneakers.
