Hi, Everyone! I was one of the "beta testers" for Tina's Homeless Simselves Challenge. As she mentioned in her thread, we had a few field testers try it out to see what needed tweaking before she sets the challenge out there.
Here's a sneak peek of how my motley crew has done...
Here they are...Jilly the writer, Anna the cook, Lynda the handyman , Karima the gardener, Crissy the charmer, Puddinroy the fisherman, Holley the thinker, and Sawyer the collector. In my test game, I made all of us siblings.
First to begin skilling is Pudd, but before I got her picture, the others swarmed eachother and made friends.
Puddin's not happy about being the fisherman at first,
but quickly gets the hang of it.
Lynda gets to work before too long, fixing the clogs.
Karima isn't allowed to have her own garden yet, so she's sent to the community garden to raid it. I say...SHE"S SUPPOSED TO BE HARVESTING FOOD! Will someone wake her up?
Crissy throws herself into skilling, you know, for the good of the family. I didn't get a pic, but her first "friend" was Buck Broke. She chatted with Buck ALOT. Then Lynda would chat with Buck, then Crissy would chat with Buck. Lucky Buck. Buck finally got too dizzy talking to both girls and left, so Crissy found a new "friend". Crissy makes lots of friends at the homeless shelter.
Jilly starts skilling, practicing up for the big novel she wants to write someday.
Sawyer is there for moral support. (and some major pwonage)
Anna is a popular cook at the Rave warehouse/Homeless shelter. Skill away, Anna! (Notice Crissy making yet another friend in the background...)
Sawyer goes to the graveyard to collect some stones and seeds. Lynda tags along because she has a wish to meet new people. While Lynda schmoozes with a surprisingly large crowd near the headstones, Sawyer decides there may be some great rocks in the catacombs.
"Bear. Big Bear. Big Bear Chase. Big Bear Chase Me."
Poor sawyer needs a rest after meeting the Zombie Bear. Sawyer has a very fun special trait - at least in everyone elses games. He's a klepto, but the only thing he managed to steal in my game so far, is...
Hearts! Lynda and Sawyer move in on this poor fella at the same time. He hasn't got a chance.
When he thinks things are swinging Lynda's way, Sawyer breaks out his secret weapon, the POUT.
Then he breaks out the "A" game. "Seen any good movies lately?"
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!
Holley's tired of the constant skilling...
And the lack of fun things to do in their abandonned park. (Making silly faces will only give you so much joy.)
So some of the gals head over to the pool. Karima and Holley grab a nap on lounge chairs that are way more comfortable than their park benches at home. Crissy on the other hand...well, you get the idea by now.
Holley wants to know when somebody other than Crissy and Sawyer will get some action!
Really, Crissy? Even while you're swimming? This girl takes her charisma skilling seriously!
And when the conversation gets too boring, Crissy decides it's time for a 'hold your breath contest'!
Karima decides that looks like fun, and jumps in for a contest of her own!
Back at the homeless shelter for a last meal before heading home for the night.
Here he is, Crissy's first and best friend, Buck Broke. Whenever Crissy shows up at the shelter, you can be sure Buck is not far behind.
Crissy is always glad to see Buck, but after chatting for a bit, she grabbed a bite to eat.
Which left the door open for Jilly to throw her hat in the ring.
Most of the crew heads home for the night. Another sim with an interesting trait is Puddinroy, who has "insanity". Here she is, talking to herself. (she actually looks at you when she does it)
Here she "talks madness" with Anna. Anna seems completely overjoyed.
But then Pudd changes the subject, and Anna seems to catch on.
And I'll leave you with a rockin' PJ Party in the Park. We make lots of silly faces, as there's nothing else that's fun to do there. And whenever a simmie manages a sleepover at a neighbor's house, they love to keep their jammies on until they have to leave their lot.
Here's Update 2:
Poor Puddin is always stuck chatting with her siblings while everyone else gets to meet townies. So finally, I got her downtown for a meet and greet of her own.
As soon as Ruby Broke was asked this question, she actually turned and ran! I was so shocked, I didn't get a pic, but she took off like a bat out of hell! Sorry, Pudd! Needless to say that after that, Puddin was more than ready to head home. I felt so bad for her!
Our collector Sawyer, however, was having a very good day in the collection department....
And still found time to get a phone call from his new buddy Sherman Bagley. (no pic, cuz I just caught the tail end!)
So I went home to check on poor Puddin, see if maybe she wanted to go somewhere else. What do I find, but Yuri something or other on our lot, making time with Miss Personality herself, Crissy.
Crissy found out that, although Yuri wasn't married, he was in a relationship.
She took it well.
Well, it's getting late, and Crissy is awfully sleepy, so it's time to pay a visit to one of our standby sleepover buddies. This is the first time Crissy has been to Buck's house.
"Gee, Buck. I've never seen a house held up by stacks of bricks before. Is your family staying all night, or will they be heading off to their own trailer?"
Pudd consoled herself with some fishing...
She caught a birthday cake, a rubber ducky, a bottle of bubble bath, and a death flower seed.
The next day, I was finally able to accept opportunities. Crissy was up first, having to do a charming introduction to the old Shallow fella she had her breath-holding contest with in the pool earlier. Always alert to opportunity....
She got some charming conversation in with his handsome son.
And this guy. "I like your hat. Do you want to go out sometime? Maybe we could go dancing..."
"Disco??? Not Disco!!! Nooooooo!!!" I think this was the first guy that didn't want to go home with Crissy!
Finally Anna's cooking skills paid off for Karima, who can now garden! And with the 9 million seeds that Sawyer the mega collector had stored up, she had a great start!
This time, I let Puddin pick the field trip destination, and surprise, surprise, the small group arrived at the Fish Hatchery.
Pudd led the way with a mighty shark catch.
Anna was the next to make a catch. She really took to fishing, catching a ton of fish and skilling all most twice as fast as the other simmies!
Lynda hauled one up next.
And finally Holley pulled off a respectable 7 Alley Catfish! Wait. Didn't Jilly go on this outing, too? Well yes she did. There is no pic, because she caught NOTHING. Not even a cold..
Turns out Puddin is an avid gardener, too, and is working in the garden as much, if not more, than Karima! (I checked, no green thumb in Pudd's traits. Must be a secret wish?)
And all the hard work paid off. We got our first harvest. No more raiding the neighbor's gardens! (Now their beds and showers are another matter entirely!)
We're moving along with the skilling really well now. Sawyer can now catch bugs. Yay, Sawyer!
This is Rose. Rose is about to have an incredibly bad day.
The next opportunity was Anna's. She entered a cook off against Rose. As you can tell by Anna's victory dance behind Rose's back, Anna won. Now here's where things go horribly wrong. I brought Karima and Holley to the restaurant with Anna, so they could get their outing for the day out of the way. I felt bad for Rose, so before we left the lot, I had Karima chat with her. There aren't any pics, because I didn't think this was an event. Anyway, Karima ended up being invited to Rose's house.
It turns out Rose lives with Danza, the sim Karima made. I know we're not supposed to have cc sims in the challenge town, but I was testing him out for Karima, and I stuck him way across town so he wouldn't show up in the challenge. I figured once the challenge was over, he'd get some play time. Well, when I stuck him in this little house, he was all alone. I sat back and let it all happen. Forgive me from diverting from the challenge, but this was just too good to miss. We'll continue now with Rose's day from Hades....
Rose pops the TV on, while Karima shamelessly puts the move on her man. Danza assures Karima that he is single. No 'relationship' is mentioned.
Careful, Karima! Rose is watching "how to cowplant a rival" on the telly!
You didn't think Rose's day was going to get any worse, did you?
As she gets up to have it out with Karima, TWO more girls walk right in and make themselves at home! Danza, you've been a busy boy!
"This is MY man!" Karima winds up, and throws....
The STINK eye!
I actually had to make her do something else, because she wasn't going to stop giving Rose that look! It went on for a really long time. I finally had Karima give a mean interaction, which was "talk bad about".
Which oddly enough, gave all three of them happy points. I decided Karima wasn't going to find a new sleepover house here anytime soon, so I had her go home. Thus ends Rose's bad day. I now return you to our regularly scheduled Homeless Simselves Challenge...
Jilly FINALLY got to finish her novel, Homeless in Simselvainia which was of course an instant best seller. Instead of another boring shot of Jilly at the keyboard, I thought I'd show off the prize...the finishing of the novel meant we could buy an easel. The rule is, the first one to use it becomes the Artist. Let the race begin...
Ladies? Let the race BEGIN! Girls? One of you can go paint something now. Anyone? *crickets chirping* Those three stood there almost the entire night. I thought the game glitched, but everyone else was moving, so I hung in there.
Finally Karima walked off, and Holley and Lynda raced to the easel. I of course missed it, because I got tired of waiting & moved on to other sims. But the winner was Lynda. Congrats on that Gingerbread House, Lynda!
Sawyer, who showed zero interest until Lynda started painting, hung around until she finished up and walked away. Then he jumped in to paint a beautiful watercolor. I let him keep it for when he moves to the Super Duper Shack.
Lynda loved painting, and got her 4 skill points pretty quickly. This meant we could buy a guitar. Sawyer was the natural choice, since his LTW is to be a Movie Music Composer. He plays it all the time.
I'll leave you with a parting shot of Lynda's second painting, which I have titled Pookie. Enjoy Pookie until next time when we give Holley some air time!
OK, I have a huge update, as I have not been doing them as often as I should.
Things will probably be in the wrong order, so let me start by saying that I have reached the point where some of my sims have maxed their skills and are now able to get part time jobs. Of course, those pics are not in the batch I uploaded for this update, so I wanted to explain.
Once the sims with the part time jobs began bringing in cash, it wasn't long before, totalled with the sale of collected items, opportunities, etc, that I'm pretty close to having enough cash to buy my homeless simselves their Super Duper Shack. So, before I take that last step that will end the challenge, I wanted to give them a little bit of fun. A lot of the Simselves were bummed out that only a few had a special someone, so they set out on a mission to find someone to love. Here's part one, with Part two hopefully going up tonight. Enjoy Update 3!
The Simselves gathered at the mailbox, and begun making plans on how to find a love connection like Sawyer and Crissy had.
Holley had an opportunity to participate in a chess tournament at the park, and she headed there instead of over to the warehouse where Anna was preparing their now regular meals.
Not only did she miss a meal, but there wasn't a man to be found in the park.
As you can see by Lynda's painting, food was on her mind, too!
Pudd went to the pool with Holley and some other Simselves, but instead of mingling & meeting new people, Puddin' wanted to fish in the pool. She did this over and over until their needs were low enough to send them home. Unfortunately for Holley, no men showed up to swim that day.
The next day brought Holley a new opportunity, and a new opportunity to find Mr. Right. Unfortunately, this guy ran straight to his car before she could even try to be charming. She had had it. She was not leaving until she found herself a man.
Then THIS guy showed up.
"What do you say we go out for a drink?" he asked.
"I think you've had enough to drink if you think you have a chance with me." she told him.
Hey! That's Sawyer's guy! Don't worry. Holley's just giving him a piece of her mind for upsetting her brother. He actually called Sawyer and asked him if he wanted to meet him at the gym, but he never showed up! Looks like he could've used the work out!
Just when Holley was begining to despair of finding a great guy, along comes a man wearing scrubs. A doctor??? Back off, everyone! Holley's going in!
I don't have a clue what that is that Holley's talking to him about, but clearly the Bagley fella thinks the Doc is a clown.
Holley finally asks the important question..."Are you single?"
Um, that was a 'yes'. Holley scores big, and can now head home happy. Soon she will have a happy place to sleep over instead of the crappy park bench!
This has no bearing on anything, but three ghosts ran right past Holley & her new fella while they were kissing. This was the only one I was fast enough to get a pic of. I just thought it was random and funny.
Back at home, Lynda left City Hall early without staying to meet anyone, and came home to paint a pic of Crissy. This will be important later.... (oooh! foreboding!)
The next opportunity has Karima delivering produce to Cherry Kanto. Anyone recognize this house? Could it be the very same house that belongs to....
This guy???
Honest to God, this is completely random. That is not Rose from the last visit to Danza's house, but Cherry Kanto, who is an EXACT clone of rose, except she weighs less & dresses better. I didn't pay a bit of attention to the house when I clicked on Cherry's picture in the map view to make the delivery. Apparently, Rose didn't like the arrangement & left, and Cherry moved in.
Karima asked if Danza had finally settled down, and the answer was that Cherry is single.
Karima makes her delivery, and decides that if fate keeps bringing her back here, there must be a reason. She makes friends with Cherry.
The 2 girls from the last visit still live there. This time Karima finds out that they are teens. TEENS, DANZA!!! There are laws against this, Buddy!
Then the Man of the Hour comes home. There is only one double bed in this house. Where are these girls sleeping???
Danza wastes no time in adding to his Harem. Karima is invited to spend the night, and we will see who sleeps in that bed!
After the invite, Cherry hugs Karima, so it seems she's really not interested in Danza. Hmmmm.
And while Karima plays at Danza's, Puddin' takes care of the day's gardening. She really does not enjoy being the fisherman, but gardens on her own constantly.
Who will be our first official woo hoo? Stay tuned for Part Two, where the "Homerun Derby" continues!
Here's Update 4: (sorry, it's a big one!)
Anna had a cooking opportunity that called for something other than hamburgers, hot dogs, or grilled salmon, so she visited those handy neighbors, the Rhodes. They nagged her the entire time about behaving inappropriately, but she soldiered on and finished her meal on time.
Jilly wanted to make Anna feel better after that struggle, so she suggested that tonight's outing should take the simselves to the cemetery. Anna wasn't on board for that, but Jilly assured her that she would meet lots of unattached sims there. She failed to mention that they would be deceased.
The simselves were getting pretty disappointed with Jilly's idea, but she assured them that it may take awhile, but they would definitely show up.
As usual, Puddin' left early to go home and do her favorite thing...garden.
Don't the lifefruit and flamefruit look cool at night?
While they were waiting, Crissy snuck around to the masoleum, where her boyfriend Buck Broke works. She was hoping for a little romance...
But that's not what she got! Buck didn't want anything to do with her! Buck completely dissed her, then left. Crissy was so upset, that she went home. What got into Buck?
In the meantime, the swinging singles all showed up. The Simselves went out there to mingle. (the orange ghost dies in a fire, and apparently, they stink)
Jilly met Vernon Carpenter, and they seemed to hit it off very well.
They talked about everything in the world.
Anna met Sam Bagley, a relative of Sherman, Sawyer's friend.
But then Lynda moved in...
So Anna moved on to this guy. (I didn't catch his name) This place is better than a singles bar!
"What do you mean, you have commitment issues?"
But Hank Ferdinand showed up to tell Jilly that not all of the dead had commitment issues. Hank took some time and got to know Jillyson.
But then the dawn came, and all hope of a hookup went up in smoke.
JIlly was sad, but vowed to be back again soon.
Then she mourned at the grave of a ghost she hadn't met. O_0
And stole herself a deathflower, all on her own.
As for the others, they decided that maybe there were still some living guys they could hook up with. Anna met Hunter Cottoneye, who was coming into the cemetery as she was leaving.
Lynda agrees, bumping into none other than Buck Broke, coming in to work.
He tells Lynda that he and Crissy are through.
Lynda takes it well.
But don't feel too bad for Crissy. By the next moring, Wealthy Tom Shallow was calling to tell her he heard she was single & wanted to talk.
A few days later, Lynda had maxed out her Handyman skill, and was ready for work! She got a part time job at the spa. (she heard the employees got a great discount!)
Instead of going straight home, she decided to explore the area around the spa, and found this guy going inside the bistro. Holy Cow, it's Buck Broke! He cleans up well!
"How can you afford this place on your salary? Did you rob a bank?"
Then Lynda, going into heartbreaker mode, hits the motherlode of menfolk. Poor Buck goes forgotten in the crowd.
(serves you right for breaking Crissy's heart!)
I had to get a shot when I saw what this guy's name was...
Bill Newbie! Could this be Bob Newbie's father, of tutorial fame?
Heck, yes!
Puddin' having maxed out her fishing skill, got a part time job at the grocery store. She's not pleased. She wants to be home gardening!
Holley also earned herself a part time job by maxing out her skill. She chose the bookstore. Her little moodlet shows she is overworked. So she decides she's going to find her way over to her new beau's house and relax a bit.
Jebediah Wilson was so happy to see her, that he cooked her dinner & brought it out to the terrace.
"That's what I love about you, Holley. You love me for ME, not for my things."
"Um, yeah. I'm not here because of your things..." *must not look at the bed, must not look at the bed...
And too tired for a woo hoo attempt, Holley finally gets her first good night's sleep.
Karima, back to work in the garden, finds a dead deathflower plant...
and revives it! At this rate, every simself will have a deathflower to carry! Good job, Karima!
Sawyer comes by to do a little gardening in his underwear. Karima says, "OK. You need to get this Sherman thing settled once and for all. You're driving us all crazy!" Sawyer hasn't been himself since Sherman Bagley called him up and asked him to meet at the gym, then stood Sawyer up.
Sawyer decided Karima was right, and decided to make plans that night to meet up with Sherman. To celebrate, he rocked out on his guitar.
And the simselves gathered around to dance.
That night, Sawyer went by the theater, and sure enough, Sherman was there.
They decided to catch a movie. Some time together in a nice, dark theater sounded perfect.
And we give Ashley one last try to find some friends. There's a amateur olympic event at the stadium, and we (OK, I) decide she might like to check it out.
Turns out Puddin' no sooner walks in the door, as the event expires. She decides to hang around the stadium and see if she can meet some new people and fulfill her want to do that. First, she meets this gal. Take a good look at her, because in a second...
She gains about 50 pounds. Suddenly there's people everywhere, and Pudd is happy for the first time doing something else besides gardening! (the goth chic in the pic is Sherman's sis. She gets in a car before we can score an introduction.
Puddin' make a bee line for Lorie Baird, and they talk forever.
"I'm so glad I FINALLY got to have some fun today! That Jillyson never lets me have ANY fun!" HEY!!! You can just go back and fish for that!
And Sawyer finally managed to swipe something. I never saw him do it - I just got a message that something was added to my family inventory...THIS. Not the boombox from the homeless shelter, not a foosball table. THIS. Nice job, Sawyer!
And finally...we get to the end of the Homerun Derby. Sawyer, your simself only has to make out. Since you're a teen in real life, no woohoo for you! Let's see how our big three contenders who had a steady made out...
As you recall, Karima had a sleepover at Danza's. Did she score?
Denied!
Sawyer hit the theater for some make-out time. How'd that go, Sawyer?
Denied! Sherman is not a fan of PDA's! Which is weird, because he doesn't seem to mind it any other time...?
And lastley, Holley was too tired to woohoo with Jeb...
...But there's always the morning! Homerun Holley wins!
And that's it for this super long update. I now have enough money to move into the Super Duper Shack and finish the challenge. Maybe there'll be one more update for moving day. Sorry this was so long, and thanks for reading!
And finally, by popular request...MOVING DAY!!!
"Attention, everyone! We need to have a Simself meeting!"
"Hey, Baby, I gotta go. Some stupid meeting or something. So I'll see you tonight, right?"
"Lynda!!!"
"We'll never get all this fruit harvested if they keep calling us away!"
"Ashley! Quit messing around in the trash & get over here!"
"I...uh...I lost a contact lens!"
"You don't wear contacts! You can play in the trash when we're done here! Hurry up!"
"OK, everyone. I have some good news, and some bad news. First, the good news. We finally have earned enough money to stop being homeless and move into the Super-Duper Shack! Now the bad news...it seems we have some imposters here."
"It's totally Lynda, Holley, and Karima."
"I knew it all along."
"Duh. It's Holley, Karima and Lynda. Did you really just figure it out?"
"Honestly. Did everyone know but Jilly?"
"You told them! I'll strangle you!"
"Obviously, we can't move you into the Super Duper Shack with us. What have you done with the REAL simselves?"
"OK, OK. You got us. The real simselves are waiting at the Super Duper Shack. Our true identities are:
Mia Amirak...
Susie Holley...and
Kelly Lynn.
"If you're not too mad, we'd like to stay here. The garden is doing so well now, we'd hate to leave it. Besides, we were thinking of building an Inn here, in case a bachelor challenge comes up in the future. What do you think? Can we stay?"
"Alright, everyone! Let's put it to a vote! All in favor of letting the imposters stay in the Homeless Haven, say "Aye!"
"AYE!"
"OK all, let's get packing and head over to the Super Duper Shack!"
"They are NOT kepping my trash can!"
"Goodbye, Vernon. Life's too short to have a boyfriend with commitment issues."
"I know you and Vernon were very close.."
"Save your breath, Hank. We've broken up. Vernon will be staying here."
"REALLY!?! I mean, that's really too bad. Since you're leaving here, and you're my only friend..would you consider taking my headstone with you?"
"You would!?! Freakin' AWESOME! - I mean, that would be really nice of you, if you wouldn't mind."
"This is so weird - we decide to move, and all of the sudden, this crappy little car shows up!"
"And what's even more weird is that we all fit in here!"
(I have no idea where this car came from. I bought a computer for the lot so I could select "Move", and this car showed up.)
"Here we are! Beds! A kitchen! Beds! A TV! Beds!"
"But where's the girls?"
Presenting the true simselves, Karima, Holley, and Lynda!
(I have no idea why Lynda is in a wedding gown, but no one else moved in, so I don't think she got married while I was getting the move underway!)
"Hey! There's some new simselves moving in next door! This should be fun!"
"Yay! More simselves! Let the wackiness begin!"
And so it will!
The End~
And a little after-challenge picspam... (11/28/09)
After the challenge was over and they were all tucked into the Super Duper Shack, I decided to make some changes to the household.
I divided my challenge simselves in half, so that there would only be four to a house. I moved 4 into a Super Duper Dup and made room for the simselves to each move in a significant other. (The simselves in my Simselvania that were not in the challenge also have the 4 sim rule in their respective homes)
This round, I've only played 1 of 4 simself houses.
*Karima got the Science opportunity that allowed Jillys ghosty beau to become playable. I thought I took pics, but I guess not!
My quest here was to hook up the "real" simselves" with the hotties that the "Imposter" simselves had fallen for.
As per usual, this did not go as planned...
"Jilly, it's cool that you brought your ghosty boyfriend and all, but the rest of us need some lovin' too! We're going to town and get back those hot hunks that the imposter simselves stole from us!"
So while Jilly & David the Ghost stay home to play, Lynda, Holley, and Karima Simself hit the town to get their men back!
On their way out the door, they were met with this sight. I swear I don't remember seeing the warning message for the late bills! Bad, bad Creator!!!
Karima tries to put the moves on Repo Boy, but he's not having any of it.
Lynda yells at the Repo guy from the next room,
"You're not so tough! The Creator will just motherlode us a new one!"
~Lynda knows me too well.
"Oh, please. Like we're gonna use that thing anyway!"
"Um, Karima, since Anna's not in the simself house anymore, we need a new cook."
"Opps. Good point, Holley. Not it!"
"Let's head downtown & worry about it later. Oh, and...not it!"
Better whip out those cookbooks, Lynda! Lol!
"Excuse me, Miss. Did it hurt?"
"Did WHAT hurt?"
"Did it hurt when you fell from Heaven, Angel?"
As you can see, while looking for Buck Broke, Lynda instead finds Don Lothario himself.
Lynda felt the need to leave the other girls on their own and take Don home for some lesons on pick up lines.
He seemed a little tense from the lessons, so Lynda whipped out her Amazing Massage. (love that face, Don!)
Don was so grateful for the lessons and the back rub, that he asked Lynda if she'd like to go to bed. Lynda really wanted to get Buck back, but it wasn't everyone who got a chance to bed the famous Don Lothario, so she showed Don to the bedroom...
Where he promptly fell asleep an dreamt of...A guy? An OLD guy? Kinda creepy there, Don...
But in another part of the Simself residence, propositions were going a little better.
Sorry for the gratuitous simself pics, but David does this to sim me all the time & I think it's so sweet! (Yeah, I'm trying out new hair for sim Jilly)
"Jilly, let's go to our room and let me show you my hot ghost moves."
"Um, sure. Right after my show is over."
Despite SimJilly's attempts to sabatage her own lovelife, David gets his way...
And a lullabye is heard! *please please PLEASE be a ghost baby!
That leaves the other 2 gals downtown looking for their lost menfolk...
Holley tries the Reading Room first. She finds a helpful looking officer.
"Excuse me, Officer. I'm looking for Jebidiah Wilson. He's a rich doctor. Can you help me find him?"
"If you know this doctor, why don't you just visit him at home?"
"It's a long story. The bottom line is, I have to meet him all over again. Have you seen him around?"
"No, Ma'am. But if I do, I'll arrest him, because it's a crime to leave a beautiful girl like you all alone."
"Have you been hanging around with Don Lothario by chance?"
Holley might not have found Jebediah, but if Officer Hottie isn't to her liking, there's another fella waiting in the wings!
"Look, if you can't tell me where to find Jeb, I'll just find my friend and be on my way..."
"You mean the hot blonde? She went outside to talk to some businessman. Do you really have to leave so soon? We just met, and there's so much we could talk about! My name's Hal, by the way. Hal Brekenridge."
"Nice to meet you, Hal. I'm Holley Simself.
"Who needs a stuffy old doctor, anyway? I'm pretty ambitious, you know? A cop is a pretty good guy to have around, plus we get to wear this totally hot uniform. Chicks love a guy in uniform, right?"
Holley was more interested in picturing him OUT of uniform. So she got to thinking, Jeb was a really great guy, but this guy was pretty hot, and seemed pretty interested. Maybe she should give him a shot.
"Well, before we go any further, are you single, Hal?"
Smart girl, Holley! See the girl behind you?
"Totally single! Had a girlfriend awhile back, but I've put her behind me."
No, he put her behind Holley. That's Roixe Lynn, Hal's girlfriend.
Make that EX-girlfriend.
Gee, Roxie took that pretty well. As Holley and Hal made plans to get together later, Roxie found herself a lovely book and settled in for a nice read. (that's her in the background)
Meanwhile, outside...
"Excuse me, my name is Karima, and I'm looking for Danza Diablo. Have you seen him around anywhere?"
"Tom. Tom Shallow. Let me guess. You're pregnant and Danza is the father, right?"
"No! Not at all! I'm an old friend of his, and I was hoping to bump into him so I could see him again. I was hoping to get reaquanted. Do you know where I can find him?"
"Old Friend my foot! You're with the court and you're trying to serve him with paternity papers, aren't you? Well, you won't get any help from me, Honey! Good Luck!"
Well, It looks like Danza is still being Danza. Good Luck indeed, Karima! Sounds like you're going to need it! (Danza you DOG!!!)
Simself lovelife score, 3 for 4, with a new set of guys. (Jilly's ghost got lost in the move, so she had to make a new one! Note to self: put things you don't want to lose in the FAMILY inventory!)
Will Karima hold out for Danza or will she find a new love like the other gals did?
And that ends my little Simself update. I'll roll the dice to see which simself house gets played next. I have:
Jessie, Sarie, and Pixx in this house.
Tina, Jo, Sue, and Mae in this house, and
Anna, Sawyer,
Crissy and Ashley (Puddinroy) in the last house.
(Sorry, I forgot to get a new group pic for this one!)
Until next time!
