LOL!
Welcome to another long-awaited segment of my homeless simselves challenge! I'm sorry, but I don't think this one is as funny as some of the past segments have been, but it does update what everyone's been up to lately. The next segment should be slightly more comical.
********************************************
It seems that Jillyson is the biggest bread winner of the group, besides Sawyer's 'finds'.
Of course, all she has to do now is sit back and watch the money roll in!
This segment begins with me, working to become good enough friends with Tom Shallow,
so that I may find some 'comfort' in his house.
It worked! He even allowed me to cook dinner for his family after inviting me to stay over.
After dinner, I wasted no time in finding a bit of comfort.
Ahhh, the bath was the most wonderful experience I could remember ever having.
After the bath, I found a nice comfortable bed and stayed the night
Here's a great shot of the extensive garden Jo had worked so hard to build,
along with some help from the rest of us.
Speaking of gardening, here is Jo delivering some vegetables to a neighbor to complete an opportunity.
Meanwhile, Mae the charmer, was keeping a few of the others entertained.
Soon, it was time for everyone to head off to the 'homeless shelter'.
Lots of neighbors decided to join us that day.
While I went straight to the grill to cook a meal...
Jillyson decided to chat up Don Lothario. She raved on about the kind of wedding cake she'd like
to have someday, but Don couldn't stop concentrating on the rank-smelling green fog emanating from her body.
Holley: "Man, this hot dog sure smells delicious!"
Sue: "Are you kidding me? I feel like I may turn into a hot dog from eating so many of them!"
Jo: "Yah, too bad we don't have some Vegemite to jazz them up a bit!"
Poor Mae wasn't able to be first in line for a shower, so she takes a nap first.
The neighbors hanging out at the center don't seem to mind the green fog.
Meanwhile, Lynda decided to head back to the home lot to get some fishing in before dark.
"Wow, you're a big one!" At that moment, she knew what she had to do...
She went straight to the market and sold all the fish she had been collecting. She netted a whopping $804!
Lynda left the market feeling satisfied that she was doing her part to help end homelessness for the group.
At that very moment, Mae was doing her best to build up enough guitar skills to start playing for tips.
She felt refreshed after finally getting a crack at the showers.
She felt so refreshed, in fact, that she stayed at the Gazebo long after everyone else had gone home.
Sawyer felt great and decided to go rock hunting. He was humming a happy little tune while picking up the
mother lode of shiny rocks he found outside the old mine. However, he almost wet himself when he heard a deep
growl coming from inside and looked up to see a pair of glowing eyes staring at him! He went running
down the straight and almost bumped straight into me. On our way home, we walked past the cemetery.
Sawyer insisted that he wanted to go exploring, but I had no desire to go into that creepy old mausoleum.
I was tired and decided to take a nap while Sawyer went in alone.
When Sawyer ran out of the mausoleum screaming something about wild bears, I knew my decision to take a nap
had been the correct one. I actually had to bite my lip to keep from saying, "I told you so!"
From there, Sawyer and I went off in separate directions.
Sawyer found an old tub in a neighbor's yard filled with rain water that was cleaner than he was,
so he took advantage of it.
He also charmed an old lady into letting him into the house. He took further advantage by slipping himself
into their only bed. Being such a sound sleeper, the toddler's cries couldn't even wake him.
I, on the other hand, headed straight for Jon Lesson's house. Having made best friends with him, with a bit
of romantic interest on the side, I anticipated a good night's sleep in his bed. When I asked if I could
stay the night, he said yes! You can only imagine my surprise when....
The bum kicked me out! Being too tired to go 'home', I decided to stay the night in one of
his lounge chairs by his beautiful pool. It was way more comfortable than the wooden bench I was used to
sleeping on anyway. When morning came, he invited me inside again.
After exchanging very brief good morning pleasantries, I beelined straight for his bed. Jon looked none too happy about it,
but that was his problem! It could have a lot more fun for him if he'd let me stay the night.
Before I bring this segment to a close, I must show you how my painting skills are progressing.
I am not ready for the big time yet, but I have gone from painting stick men to...
... painting some interesting abstracts. Someday, maybe I'll be as good as Picasso!
Words are not enough to express how proud we are of Jo, as well as being grateful that she has
kept us all so well-fed. Without her great gardening skills, we may have starved a long time ago!
She spends so much time in the garden, that she is the first one to max out her skill.
Congrats Jo! Now, if she only knew what an omni plant is.
As a matter of fact, Jo is the only one to max her skill so far. She has decided to try her hand at a part-time
job at the grocery store. I think she's qualified for the job!
Well, that's all for now folks! The next and final segment is underway now. I just have to play it, finish it, and then write up the report.
