Of course there is a cost in it...lol. It's costing me paper, ink, whatever it costs to bind it to make it into a useable calender, and shipping.

But, I don't know how much yet. It doesn't matter, though. If it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg, I don't mind footing the bill. Although, it would be cool to get some nice Christmas cards this year.

Jill gets busy with work and with her hubby sometimes and stays away too long....lol. Stuff happens. I've been dying to see her reaction as well. I STILL can't get over how awesome this idea is! Hats off to you, Val! ;D

Well, four members have submitted their addresses to me, so I know have to make at least five calenders, six if I count you, Val, who hasn't done so yet...lol

I'm going out today to look into the supplies I'm going to need. After that, it's all in the printing and putting them together.

Karima suggested that I could send them to people's post offices if they are afraid to give their addresses, but I got to thinking that if you don't trust me enough to give me an address to send this thing to, then why the heck should I make you one? LOL

The reason I said that is because I said something out loud that made the hubby actually laugh this morning. I said, "What are they afraid of, that I might go over their house and have coffee or something?"

These pixels do what they are told, never talk back, they can't possibly get us into trouble, they definitely are not bad on the eyes either! Plus, when we grow tired of them, we can just delete them and no one will lock us up in jail for it. They are almost the perfect men!




Well, now I am going to say what I've been up to this morning:


Phew... well, I have gone out and purchased supplies, etc and learned that I can get these puppies spiral bound for about $3.00 each! ;D Hopefully they will print out in good enough quality despite the low resolution. The sample ones I printed on plain paper turned out not so bad, but it may be a different story with the glossy photo paper I got for the real thing...lol.

I can't wait to get them done to see how they will look!

This baby is going to hang in my office at work! Every year, I get some off the wall, unusual calendar for work & everyone waits to see what I bring in! They're gonna love this!

I'm sure they will! I'm wondering what the people I take them to to get spiral bound will say about them.

I'll tell you what... if this becomes an annual event, donations to the cause will be a requirement. It's getting more expensive than I thought it would be. It's mainly the ink because of the low resolution of the pics. In order to make them look really good, I have to print on the best quality, which uses more ink. Ack! My work came to a standstill last night because after only FOUR calenders, my ink was drained and both cartridges were BRAND new.

The worst part of that is that instead of spending the day totoally at home like I planned, I have to run out to buy more ink. *sniff* lol These calendars sure are looking good though! ;D

I thought it might get costly. You will have to come up with a payment system. Boolprop sell things through an online shop. I bought a few things as they had a free shipping code to Australia. Free shipping, I can't resist!

I gave a P.O box as that is our mailing address. I only use our street address for large parcels or places that don't accept the P.O.
If I gave our street address I would have to remember to actually go check our ancient mail box.

I hope it's a large P.0. box because this thing is coming in a rather large, padded envelope. I'm going to slip a piece of card board inside each one to discourage bending, but I hope the stupid mail carriers, etc don't try to bend it anyway to stuff them into smaller mailboxes.

I've worked so hard to make these nice and I do want them to arrive in good shape...lol.

Harley has a paypal/credit card button on his website. If I had to, I could have people click on that to donate. Or... checks/money orders could be sent through the mail as well.

When I first started this project, I was afraid DH would say it was stupid and try to discourage me, but he said it was cool as long as it didn't cost too much. Well, I am NOT going to tell him how much this is actually costing, or I'll never hear the end of it. Oh, what the hey? It's the holidays and you only live once!
