Feeling Blue...

Okay now, if this sucks don't blame me. I told you I don't usually write this stuff but I thought I'd throw something up here since this forum has gotten TOO quiet lately. I don't know what made it pop into my head, but what the hey. Now let the pointing and laughing begin.

Feeling blue

When you’re feeling blue,
And things just don’t seem right
You don’t know what to do
When there’s no end in sight

Sometimes you feel
Completely sad and alone
Your mind starts to reel
And you pick up the phone

The phone starts to ring
As you fidget around
You remember something
So you set it back down

There once was a day
When you thought you knew
That all was okay
And you’d make it through

The future was bright
And laid out ahead
But now it’s not right
Your heart’s full of dread

Now you’re just weary
Your mind's all a jumble
It really is eerie
That now you're so humble

There once was a time
Life was so sweet
Things were just fine
With the world at your feet

Now you must face
In the blink of an eye
You’re aging with grace
As time passes you by

*sniffles* That was a really sweet poem. And I swear, no sarcasticness here. I love reading poetry and I think that the people on here are wonderful at it once giving a try.

Very well done. There was a word I was trying to think of, but it eludes me. So I will say it's sad and pensive instead. We're not going to point and laugh. Well not unless you want us too!
