There's a song in the wind
a whistle in the breeze
a sweet rhythmic sound
in the rustle of trees
a portrait in the storm clouds
a drum beat in rain
a flute in the bird's cry
a sound that remains
beauty in the blue sky
lillies in the valley
love in the moonlight
peace on the sea.

Okay, this stuff sounds like professional poet's work. I'm serious. I just did the whole studying poetry thing, and this is really good stuff Merci. You should really look into doing this professionally or something.

I posted something! It's not super good, but I wrote it in, like, March... anyway, I contributed, lol!

Wow...Thanks so much for your kind words. Never in a million years would I have thought anyone would actually like my poems, since (for one) I don't consider myself a poet, I just get into these moods, and I write down my thoughts.
