Is it really Worth the trouble, the pain?
Is it really worth the time that is wasted?
Is it really worth the bitterness tasted?
Is it really worth the all night tears?
Is it really worth the now gone years?
Is it really worth the bad memories?
Is it really worth the constant grief?
Is it really worth discretion?
Is it really worth depression?
Is it worth the flowing tears?
Is it worth the lasting fears?
Is it worth a broken heart?
Was it worth it from the start?

Whoa! Wow, Merci, that was GREAT! For some reason, I actually got goosebumps while reading that! Thanks SO much for sharing it with us.

That was really beautiful mercifulplay... really. I could really feel the emotion as I read it, and that is a hard thing to do in writing.

Thank you all so much for your compliments. Honestly, I don't feel I can write poems unless under a certain spell. I have another one I've been wanting to post, but I feel because of the nature of it that it needs an introduction. I was inspired to write it to express the feelings of the children I once worked with. They had been through all sorts of things. With that being said, I will post it, and another very short poem (very few words-I kinda like).
