weird things ... we have strange sayings in french too and I get some of them but not all hehehe I recognized only one we also have (the grass is always greener on the other side) Not sure I get all the others

some I just can't say around here ... hmm let me think ... the ones I'm thinking about can't be translated. I'll think about it I'm sure one or two will come up as for the explanation maybe you could someday start with that one because I truly don't get it : A stitch in time saves nine! ? |

hehehe.... Okay, a stitch in time, saves nine refers to getting something done sooner, rather than later. See, if you stitch a hole in something while it's still small, it doesn't take nearly as much thread to fix it. |
