Really, really, REALLY bad news everyone. We had a power outage last night and it seems to have fried my computer. It won't turn back on. I am still in such a state shock right now and don't know what the hell I am going to do. I do have a back up Sims file, but it is useless with out a computer to put it back into. It looks like i'm going to be taking an unplanned and unwanted Sims break.  |

Looks like the hard drive is okay, so I should be able to get all my stuff off. It will most likely be a couple more weeks before we can get another computer though.

 Poor you.  Maybe some small thing just got burnt out. Dh says it could be your power supply and you just might need a new one of those, not a new computer. Hope you get it sorted out as quickly as possible. Must suck lemons.

Dh says it could be your power supply and you just might need a new one of those, not a new computer. Hope you get it sorted out as quickly as possible. Must suck lemons. It's not the power supply because the fans and hard drive come on. It's the processor/motherboard that is fried. |
