I've been wanting to rant all week sooooooooooo... First of all the sims won't install right on my computer for some reason, keeps saying EA has encountered a problem and needs to close! Second, got into it with a fellow classmate (mind you this is college). She tells eveyrone she doesn't like conflict, but had the nerve to talk to me out of context and think I was going to take it. It threw me for a loop at first because again (she claims) she doesn't like conflict. She came at me three times before I actually retalliated, then the teacher wanted to speak up (and say something to me). Now we're all adults (which is what I said to the "whatever you want to call her") so we should try to handle it in an adult manner, well that went out the window when she kept trying to punk me. Finally class ended and I thought it was over until the next week came and she came in trying to go off again, but she tried to be slick about it and mask it behind the "we need to discuss it excuse." After a few sentences it became evident that she was attempting to do a repeat of the week before. She tried projecting the blame of the whole incident on me. I wish I had a video to capture how she literally began huffing and puffing trying to force herself to a level of anger. I looked her square in the face and said, "GROW UP." After that she calmed herself right down and shut-up talking to me!  |

Oh my gosh, Merci, how annoying that must have been!  Well I'm glad you got that out of your system. Feels a little better, I hope.  I'm also glad you stood up for yourself and it seems you may have the _____ in her place! ;D Hopefully she'll back off and leave you alone about the matter now. |

Creepy psycho chick! (her, not you, Merci) I hope she doesn't do something creepier like slash your tires or something. You don't have to sit near her, do you? People like that are scary.

Okay, I have a rant today. Look out! God, my head hurts!  It's more like my face is killing me! I've had sinus troubles since late 2000 and have had three surgeries on the left side. I believe those surgeries have led to a newer problem that I've had since mid '05. It's an eye problem called an orbital pseudotumor and I've been on Predisone (a steroid) for three years because it's the ONLY thing that stops the agonizing pain. This had led to new problems (side effects) like weight gain, ankle swelling, irritability, etc. *sigh* I saw a rheumatologist who put me on Methotrexate to try to help get me off the Prednisone because being on it forever is not a good thing, but it doesn't seem to be working so great. I got almost off the steroids several times and then had to increase the dosage again. Now I am back up to a fairly high dose and the pain is STILL there! Bottom line: It hurts SO darned bad today that I want to pluck my eyeball out with a spoon! /rant Okay, I feel better now that I've gotten that out of my system! Hopefully my overdose of extra-strength Tylenol will kick in and give a little bit of relief so I get something done today .... *sigh* |
