I burnt the crap out of my hand last night. I have second degree burns on my left palm and 4 fingers  6cc of Morphine and a prescription for Vicodin. I am having to hen peck this and it's annoying. I can't do ANYTHING!!! I'll take some lovely pictures of the blisters and stuff after my mummy wrapping come off if anyone is interested  |

DH better go get some gift bags!
I'll type it here and in the calendar thread, so you don't have to hunt & peck too much -
Holley isn't going to be able to get her calendar pics in by Thursday, so we won't see hers until next week. Hopefully, it won't cause too much of a problem, and give Val time to work with all the other pics she's getting bombarded with!

It was VERY painful. Even the Morphine only took the edge off. I didn't sleep at all last night either.
The Vicodin is helping with the pain, so that's good. But it is so frustrating that I can't do ANYTHING.
I have to keep the bandage dry and it hasn't stopped raining here since last Thursday!

I took my Pork Loin out of the oven and a couple seconds later forgot it was hot, apparently, and went to turn the handle in.

I hope you have a very speedy recovery & it has not done any permanent damage!I did not want to ask how it happened, because of the ouchy factor that would result from the answer, but you have answered it in your replies,to others, I had a very strong feeling it was a cooking related burn!
