Hey guys, our Distant Ed school wants us to do this unit on the Commonwealth Games. We have to do some things on India and five other countries so we chose Australia (of course lol) England, Canada, South Africa (because I can find them on the world map!) And Singapore, also because I know people online from all those places. Now I'm not really very any good at geography what so ever so I might need some help. So forgive me if I ask some really dumb questions. First port of trouble is finding Singapore on the map. So this is probably a really dumb question (Ning I don't suppose you are around?!) Singapore is a small island, right? I kind of know the general direction, but we are supposed to label it and the capital city and I think it shows up as just a dot. We could choose another country, but I thought it would be nice to pick those with people that we know online.

Well we have already 'kind of' found it, thanks Jilly. Just that I am still not sure if Singapore is part of the peninsula or an island, although first thoughts were it's an isalnd, it's just really hard to tell looking at maps. That map is good, but still doesn't make that part clear. We just put a red dot right up against the main land on the map the school gave us. That way we are covered either way! Australia has four gold medals so far! ;D
