Hello all, it is Thursday, and the ninth day of high school for me.
I haven't been posting as much because mainly, I've fallen asleep as soon as I get home! School is so exhausting that I have to take a nap most days. ;D Oh well, I like naps.
Anyway, high school is nothing like what I imagined. I pictured the typical TV high school with bullies and rudeness towards underclassmen, and well...none of that is true (at least for my school). All my upperclassmen are really helpful and nice. Especially the other oboe player in Concert Band. She's amazing, and talented too.
I enjoy all of my classes, save for Geometry... :/ The teacher is full of himself and acts like you're stupid when you ask questions. At least I get shapes, lines, and rays...most of the time.
Here's what my schedule looks like:
So far, to embarrass myself I've: walked into the girl's bathroom while the volleyball girls were in there, puked at lunch from gagging on a cheeseburger, and broken a bracket in my braces whilst eating a carrot.
Unlike Sarie, I haven't had a God awful amount of homework. I think tonight will be the biggest night, mainly because I have to write a mini symposium on a current event. I think I'll do the appeal of Proposition 8 in California.
I'll check up on stories...now. Lol.

Here's what my schedule looks like:
First Period: Introduction to Art - I like drawing, which is a major part of the class. Most of the people are nice.
Second Period: Concert Band - A fun class, with two of my close friends in it. Plus I love playing my oboe.
Third Period: English - I LOVE this class. Haha. Jo, this teacher reminds me so much of you. She has a thing for cats and is quite funny. ;D
Fourth Period: Geometry - Mehh. :/
Fifth Period: Study Hall
Sixth Period: Physical Science - I have my best friend in this class, and since my name starts with "SAW" and her's starts with "SCH" we get to sit right next to each other.
Seventh Period: French One - We have a wonderful French teacher, who lived in France and everything! She really knows her stuff. I have my best friend in this class too (the one mentioned above).
Eighth Period: Citizenship - My Citizenship teacher is pretty fun. He has a dry sense of humor which I like, and I've got my best friend (mentioned above) and two other of my beloved groupies in here.
Overall, I'm pretty content with my schedule. Haha.
