Yellow Female Elder Clothes (TS2)

I never thought I'd be posting this, but it's finally time. Bandura's about to become an elder, and I'm struggling to find some trendy elder clothes for her in her trademark yellow colour.

TSR had some yellow clothes, but they were all old fashioned. I wanted them to have the wonderbra shape like Zoe's had, and saggy elder clothes are not to my taste.

So, does anyone know of anything that might suit an old Bandura?

I have a few 'adult' body shaped elder clothes, but one of the best things at MTS is a hack that opens all the Maxis adult clothes to elders. I can't think what it is called, but I'm sure I got it at MTS. I can also take a look around at my cc clothes. I don't think I have anything in yellow though.

I also have a mod that allowes elders to where adult clothing. I got it from Maty by Motoki. It may also be posted at MTS as well though. I like it because it also stops elders from being so 'saggy' and 'bent'.

That sort of hack sounds like the best idea, there just isn't that much yellow stuff out there for elders. I'll take a look around tomorrow when I have more time, thanks both!

Tina does your hack open just the Maxis adult clothing or all adult clothing, including the adult cc stuff? I'm wondering if it's any better or just the same hack. I still have the saggy stuff as well.

That's how mine look in the adult Maxis clothes. They still sag a bit, but it's the adult body shape. I'm aiming for older, but not ancient.


Edit: Ok after scouring Google and TSR (I only pilfer there free stuff. There is a lot of angst in the sims comuity about them)
Also don't worry, I was looking for me too. After looking I realized I had no nice yellow cc clothes for elder females at all.

I downloaded it myself, but don't worry, Joanne Mobacy tends to wear brown and orangy colours. So she won't be wearing it.

Edit: Do you have H and M, that set requires it.

This is what I do with my newly elderfied elders. First up is a 'trendy' young makeover and later I move them to a 'dignified' elder makeover.
I went over to Riverblossom Hills and gave Catherine Viejo a double makeover. I've never looked closly at her before and couldn't figure out why she was so hideous (She had costume makeup on to look older!)

Some light makeup, smart clothes in the elder shape. Kept hair and eyebrows.

makeover to trendy young 'elder'

Firstly that is the yellow TSR set. But IMO I think the young trendy clothes needs the younger trendy hair.

So I always put on normal hair and eyebrows with the younger clothes.

I just think it completes the look better. But everyone to their own.

Just for fun I aged her down and exited without saving.

I even got her hair colour right.

I don't currently have H&M stuff, but it is next on my list to buy. If I had any time I'd buy it then download that outfit, it's really nice.

But (see my LJ) I'm probably going to run out of time for Bandura to actually age before my holiday, I'm not sure how much simming time I have left. But thanks for the links, I'll have a look round and download the hack asap.

Costume 'older than elder' make-up! Deary me.

I like the more dignified elder look the best, but with brown hair she does look good as an elder, and well done for guessing the hair right, I wouldn't have a clue.

I have a grey hair recolour of Bandura's hair, so she will be going grey (thank you peggysims), but I think I'll be trying clothes on her for days when I get back from my holiday!

With Elle I went a bit extream and she has had four makeovers! I used black hair, black hair strecked grey, dark grey and silvery white. I hate the sudden change from colour to silver white. To me the elder birthday is fifty and I don't know any with silver grey hair.
I rather like Catherines first make over too. She probably needs a bit more colour in her cheeks in the second. Probably a slightly tanned all over fondation. Fair skinned elders tend to have a pasty look about them otherwise.

When you use the maxis elder mesh shape, it looks a lot better if the top goes over the hip like that one does.

Can you tell I've spent way too much time on elder makeovers?

I spent ages with Zoe, but Freud was fine - same with Shaun, he was sorted weeks ago. It's always the elder women I spend ages looking online going 'no, no, no...' then finally find the right thing!

I hate that the elder birthday is so young, both my parents are over 50 and have brown hair still, but then I wouldn't know when to turn a sim grey if not at the elder birthday. I think Bandura's skin might look a bit pasty as it's around 1.5, Zoe was skin 2 so she didn't look so bad.

Well I'm seven years off being 50 and I don't plan on being all slivery grey haired! Which is probably why I try and make the sim aging a bit more gradual. I just changed both Elle and Al's look each chapter. I don't even know if people realized that they were both silver white Maxis haired last chapter they were in. (The one where they camped) But the men do age better, but I still refuse to use ankle length trousers for them! Ok my Dad has some like that, but he's over 80.

I just re-found a site yesterday and am guilty of downloading so much it's gone off the edge of my visible desktop! Really nice things. Not a lot of elder but some and there is one very yellow outfit there, but it may be jammies.

I got the Elder/Adult clothes hack at MATY and thanks Jo for that link to the latest site. I didn't know about that one.

I still have issues w/ elder eyebrows. Even all my CC ones are grey when I take them to the mirror. I don't know what to do about that.

Every time I posted here I thought, I wonder if anyone else is seeing this thread and then I thought maybe we should so a thread just for elder finds like nice clothes, eyebrows etc. Because yes, you can't put on non grey hair with grey eyebrows that looks wrong.

Well most of my eyebrows are grey, but I have enough that are not. I wonder if I could just do an eyebrow upload for you? I've forgoten how again.
