 I have A 21st, I'm going too,no problem there, but it is 'Come as your favorite Disney Character!'I have no idea,it has to be quick & simple for me,as I am ALWAYS called on to do stuff for the party!decorate,& that kind of stuff,you know,& I never have time to change! So that is why quick, would be good! I am of average build,(not fat, not thin!)I have long hair past my waist,I'm 5ft7in tall!(Is Rapunzel a Disney character?lol!)So if you guys could put your thinking caps on,I would love the help with this!

Yes that would be easy. Disney is doing Rapunzel called 'Tangled' Hair long, blond and down, pink dress.

 ;D Is Rapunzel Disney? I was just guessing, I could do that,but I will have to get hair paint for the top of my hair as it is grey,the rest is blondish?(very light brown bleached by the sun,so a reddish,brownish Gold!)So I go OP shopping! ;D

I didn't know Rapunzel was Disney. I'd never heard that before! I never heard of a movie called "Tangled" either. I wonder if it didn't get released in the states for some reason.  If you could make your hair dark, you could be Pocohantas - but you'd need some kind of Native American outfit. Something brown with fringe would probably do - A basic square pancho out of cheap fabric would work - you could just fringe the edges with scissors, and cut a hole in the middle for your head. If you were REALLY inclined, you could wrap a matching piece around your waist like a skirt. Moccasins on your feet would complete it, or even boots, if ypou had a suede pair. If you want to stay blonde, you could go as Barbie. Disney owns Mattel, and she was in a couple of the Toy Story movies, so I'd think she counts. If you look on ebay, they sell adult Barbie costumes. You don't have to buy one, but it will give you an idea of how to dress with things you may already own. |

;D I think Barbie,is right up my ally,she is over Fifty, so I will portray her, I wonder if I can find a skintight sequined dress in Pink,I will put that with heels & handbag & fluffed my hair, A bit of spray on blond will have to go over 'the snow on top' lol! Or I could do classic Barbie, A-line dress,in Pink(of coarse!) stockings with seams & gloves,shoes & handbag in white & a pillbox hat!

Barbie is Disney owned, but not technically a Disney character. If you wanted to be classic Disney - Alice in Wonderland has blonde hair. Blue dress, white tights, black shoes and a headband?  I haven't heard of Tangled, although I knew Disney were going to do Rapunzel in future, I think they put it on hold to do the Princess and the Frog, so it'd make sense for it to be coming up soon.[/Disney geek] |

Toy Story is Pixar, is Pixar Disney?
Just had a thought, Sarah has most of the Barbie movies, including Barbie as Rapunzel. Not sure who that is by as I see Universal on the disk.
If your hair is long and sprayed blond and you wear a pink dress you could be Barbie, Rapunzel or Aurora. She is one of the 'Disney Princesses'

I think Pixar is some offshoot, but they sell Toy Story toys in the Disney store, so it must be.
Ohh!!!! You should go as Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean!!!! You could still be blonde - no one will care! A bandana tied like a headband, a small braid from the top going down the front, a long coat....you could TOTALLY pull it off!!!!
Cool about Rapunzel! I hadn't heard about it. I still haven't seen Princess & the Frog, so I"m behind on my Disney!

Pixar's known as Disney-Pixar over here all the time, so it's sort of a branch of Disney. Our local Disney store is pretty much only stocking Toy Story 3 stuff at the moment, Barbie would be really up to date! Your Mum's going as a witch? I can't think of any Disney witches at the moment, that's going to be in my head for hours now trying to work it out. |
