OMG, I'm about ready to pull my hair out and scream bloody murder! 
We have a contract with Terminix, an exterminator company, to come out several times a year to spray for bugs. Every spring, for some reason, we get ants coming into the house. Usually by this time of year, though, the ants stay outside. Well...
Now that we have a stray cat we are feeding outside, ants showed up in the food we give it. The 'bug man' came for his usual spraying session, but I told him it was not necessary to spray inside the house because we didn't have any bugs inside, but he sprayed all around the outside of the house. Man, that was a big mistake!
The day after he was here, ants were INSIDE the house again! They got into the dog food that we keep in Crissy's closet. It was a brand new twenty pound bag of food that cost about 13 dollars and I had to throw it away because it was FULL OF ANTS!
The next thing I knew, ants had gotten into the cupboard in the kitchen and have now ruined a few boxes of cereal, pop tarts, cookies, etc.
Hubby has tried calling and emailing the bug man, but has gotten nowhere so far, so the ants are taking over my house! 
As soon as they're open today, I'm going to call the company and complain to them so that someone gets out here to kill these freaking ants before I go totally and completely insane!

Maybe try and find the nest and pour some stuff down that.
