Oygh..The power's been out up here in Vermont for five days straight...So we couldn't shower for...Five days straight and I felt filthy! There was a huge snow storm that happened and totaly blew out our power.The power company didn't wanna travle all the way up our mountain cause their scardy cats and dont wanna put up with the dirt roads  over 20,000 ppl in vermont had lost power. |

Wow Megan! That is rough! I'm no stranger to having no power for a long time, so I feel your pain. I'm glad it's going again for ya!

I went stir crazy after three days and had to spend the fourth at my grandma's house once. You live on a mountain? ^-^ Can I come snowboarding?  Are there communal showers, like at the YMCA? The school? They always have those during ice storms...here. Sorry about your crappy week, Megan.  |

It's alright.Was kinda fun cause I slept over at my family friends' house and we spent all night in the snow and played snow ball fights cause he lived right by me.His power was out too of course.But it wasn't fair cause his aim was horrible so he had to pick up gigantuon snow boulders and throw them at my face...Lol
It wasn't actually that bad.Sorta fun hanging out at my second family's house for acouple days.

I was without power for ten days after Hurricane Hugo struck quite a few years back. We did have natural gas for our water heater, though, so we could, at least, take showers.

The longest I've ever gone is four days. I think. Maybe five. TEN DAYS?!  Holy cow! And...yeah...we have electric water and heating. So we're screwed when the electric goes out. |
