The way sims get "It's raining/snowing!" icon in their thoughts when sleeping and then wake up to see it has been driving me nuts for some time. I haven't had any luck in finding a hack to stop this. I can hardly believe there is no hack for this as it can't just annoy me to have some sim pop out of bed at 3am to see the snow then not be tired enough to go back to sleep.

Have a look in JM Pescado's list of hacks. It's call anitweatherrecaction. I have that one installed and it stops sims from dropping whatever they're doing just look at the weather. www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/al/hacks/If you are ever in need of stomping annoying behavior, MATY is the first place to check. MATY is all about that sort of thing. I have tons of annoying things killed in my game because of JM Pescado.  |

Oh you're a life saver or umm a sanity saver Tina! I have looked at MATY before but sticking in antiweather comes up with nothing! I've Googled weather hacks before now too and never found it so thanks very much. It doesn't bother me when they're awake, I guess this takes that away too?

I think it takes them away all together. S3 is full of annoying reactions, too. Sims go nuts when faced with a ghost or mummy. You can't get an interaction in without waiting for 5 commands og "A mummy!" or "A Ghost!" to clear first. I had a hack for the ghost reaction, but I'll have to go check for a mummy one. What the hell are these programmers thinking?

I think the programmers at EA put things in the game just to annoy us!  If I remember correctly, they still get those "It's raining", etc icons in their que, but they just don't drop everything else to go see the weather. It makes it so that you can actually cancel them if you don't want them to go see. |

It's going to be interesting with just base, OFB and NL with no cc or hacks on dh laptop on holidays. I can't stand the heat anymore, so I'm sure to have to stay back at 'base camp' at least some of the time. may as well have something fun to do. |

Yeah I hear ya! Ah well, you can make a new family and get them a business going or something. One of these days, I'm going to fire up my TS2 and mess around with some businesses again. I really got into that when OFB first came out, but then I never really got them going great because I moved on to other things as usual...lol
