OMG, Holley!!! I thought the same as Val - I thought this was the New Year's party thread & the roof was on fire. And you have to wait until Monday to get it fixed???

Holley lives in a much warmer section of the country than Tina or I do. I don't know how cold it is, but it's not snow country. (at least if I'm remembering right)

 Doesn't she live around the corner from 'Disneyland' or a big theme park of that caliber,I remember because I use to live across the road from Warner-brothers Movieworld for 12 years,(& would still be living there except for a money hungry A hole!)What I mean is they usually build theme parks in mild weather places, so they can get an all year round trade!

You're right karima, Holley is around the corner from one of the Disney lands. I think there is one on either side of the country? So she probably does have some milder weather.
Well I hope it stays clear until you can get it all fixed Holley.

LOL... they have theme parks ALL over the country here, Karima, even in cold places. They are just not open in the winter. Anyway, the temps are pretty moderate where Holley lives, but California was built on a desert, so it still can get fairly chilly at night sometimes. One of the worst things about having her roof cave in this time of year is that this is the rainy season there. Plus, unless insurance or the people who didn't fix it right the first time foot the bill, it's not going to be cheap to fix. |

Hey everyone!
The hole is just into the Crawl space, there is no outdoor exposure. So there is no worries that weather can get in.
The problem is we can't use the heater so it can get pretty chilly @ night.
We won't have to pay for ANY repairs, because it was someone else's mistake.

Thank goodness for that, we were all worried about you all being exposed to the elements of the weather, though having no heat, is not good when it gets so cold at night!

Well that is at least some good news Holley. Like karima I was worried you would all freeze. Well still sounds like you might be cold, so I hope they hurry up and fix it.
