Anybody know where I can find a microphone?

Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find a microphone, either handheld or with a base. If not I will consider investing in Nightlife, which I don't have yet, so I can use the kareoke machine for my story.

Hey, NoReins! Nightlife would be a great investment! I don't know what'd I do without it because it's one of my favorite EPs. What expansions do you have? If you have University, there is a microphone in the game they use when they do the 'Freestyle' performance interaction. If you have that, this prop hack may work, if it uses that microphone. I didn't read far enough to find out if it uses the uni or the NL one.

Thanks for the links, Tina. I may download both of them. After reading the thread I don't know if they work without Nightlife or not, but if they don't it would be a great help.

I currently have University, Pets, Seasons, and Freetime, but am hoping to invest in some other expansion packs and some stuff packs soon.

Nightlife is one of my favs too - I can't imagine my game without it! I though of the freestylin' too. The ones I found on search all needed NL to work. I'll keep checking around.

Thanks Jillyson. I'm seriously considering investing in Nightlife now. There are a lot of items and other parts of the game that I would like to incorporate into my own game.

It's a great EP, between the date interactions, the downtown locales, and of course the vampires, I highly recommend it. Also now that S3 is out, you may be able to find a used copy at a store or on Ebay for pretty cheap.

Did the prop attachment microphone show up? I use that, but I have all Ep"s. Sorry I haven't read the entire thread. I did a search and all of the pages that I hoped had something came back as non sim pages probably because the site had closed.

I read, and Crissy also said that the microphone for freetime is located in the hobby bin in buy mode just like all the other instruments. I've never used it before, but she has and said that sims can use it to sing or do standup comedy.

That is probably what I used in chapter 12 when Lottie did her rap at the Mobacy restaurant. You can sing, recite poetry and do stand up comedy on it. It does come with a box and takes up some room. You need a few tiles of space to use it.
