I hope she comes on soon! I just got my package from her today. She drew the illustrations for my nursery rhyme book that I'm making for my friend's first grandchild. They are just beautiful! I' going to take pics later and post them up so you can all see them!
Stop by, Karima! I know she was having more computer problems, but I thoght they fixed her all up the second time!

Well I'm still hoping it will arrive Monday (tomorrow) How did you ship them Tina? If you chose something really cheap called Blue Bag it can take 12 weeks. I believe most people don't know about Blue Bag though. I didn't until I got a heavy school package from America that way. It did take months. Regular post should get here in about a week, but Christmas makes things slower.

It was sent on (our) Sunday or Monday via air mail. When it was Sunday she sent a PM saying she was going to post it, and on Monday she sent a PM that said it was sent.

Damn. That means it took a nearly a week to get here by airmail.  I had three packages to send overseas, so I didn't go that route. At this rate, I'll be lucky if mine get there by next Christmas! |

Oh, airmail is what I meant by regular post. If it's via ship, I think that might be three to six weeks? I'm really unsure on that, I haven't used it for years. Oh well, I won't expect mine till after Christmas then. |

Sorry Jo, I didn't see your earlier post until just now.  No, I don't know what blue bag is. I didn't do anything special. I just sent them first class USPS, which is our regular mail service. I have no clue how they get them to Oz and SA that way.  It wasn't really cheap. It cost nine dollars to ship to Oz and eight to ship to South Africa. I still hope they get there before Christmas. We have almost a week left. *crosses fingers* |

I thought my post hadn't been seen. Well if it was by air about 7-9 days is what I would expect. What day were they sent? You just can't tell this time of year. One time I sent a present to England 'for Christmas' and they didn't get it until January. Also next time ask for payment! |

They were all mailed out on the day I made my thread about it, which was Dec 8, by about 10:00am. Sheesh, I would have thought that would be in plenty of time for Christmas.  lol Ah well, at least no one has gotten them yet, which means that they, hopefully, are just slow and not lost. |
