That The Sims 2 screen shots are low resolution in their natural form, and that The Sims 3 screen shots are not. I am trying to decide the best way to go about printing out and putting together the Desirable Discourses Hotness Calendar that Valpre so awesomely made for us. So, I looked around online at personalized calender maker sites. Every time I put the pics on, there is an exclamation point symbol that warns me that the pics may not be clear when printed! So then I tried, for the heck of it, putting a sims 3 screen shot into the space and it didn't tell me the resolution was low...lol Ah pooh! lol I have printed the front cover, Mr. January, and the first calender page out on regular paper and, while it may not be the BEST quality, it looks pretty good to me! But, I am NOT going to take a chance on paying to have some calendars printed out that may be blurry because they are stupid..lol. Therefore, I am on my own. I will get the stuff, print them myself, and figure out a way to bind the pages together to make a nice calendar for those who really want one. I know I sure want one! Wish me lots of luck, People!

Uh... hello Lynda? Earth to Lynda! You need to pop in more often, Woman! It's seems you have missed something.... Val's surprise! desirablediscourses.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=exchangestories&action=display&thread=1549&page=1The one for this year is already done, except for my printing it out and making it into an actual 2010, tangible calendar. But, there as been a discussion about making it an annual event, so... there's always next year! Next time we do it, though, we are going to have to take the pics with print screen or something if it is going to involve TS2. Hopefully that will yield us some higher resolution pics. Whoever wants one of these calendars needs to PM me their mailing addresses.

So can they be changed to un natural form? I don't know what my dh would say if I put that up though. As to binding, I think the easiest and cheapest is stapled. You need one of the really long staplers like you might find at a library or school. Our current calendar is stapled.

LOL... I can change them from their natural form, but it likely wouldn't help their lousy resolution! Yeah, the ones that are stapled are usually long pages folder over and stapled in the middle to hold them together... like magazines. I'm afraid staples will not work for this and actually hold it together for a whole year while it hangs on the wall...lol Ah come on, Jo, what can he possibly have to say about CARTOON men? Heck, my dh gets me a Harley calendar every year with HOT REAL guys on it standing by Harley Davidsons. Surely, your guy wouldn't be too peeved over pixels. I mean, you look at them EVERY DAY in your game anyway... and on sims sites.

You're supposed to know because you are supposed to follow the link I gave you above. Mae is really cool. It's too bad she's not able to come around as often as she used to do, but hopefully she'll have more time soon. I miss her. It's awesome thing Val did though! She has started a DD tradition because I definitely want to put one together again next year. ;D Well folks, it's going on 2:00am here and I am supposed to get up early to take my mom to the doctor. I should have been in bed a couple of hours ago. lol So... I'm hittin' the hay! I'll catch y'all in a few hours.

TINA, here in OZ, you can buy Ring binding kit's, so I am sure you can get them there! it would make for a longer lasting Calender, & Once bought I think you only have to buy the ring-binding as you run out! & it will look like a real Calender, with Mega Hot Pixels inside!

You didn't say if it's a fold-over staple job. I already said above that stapling works with right setup. Magazines are stapled and they hold together just fine, but they are also fold-over pages, so they wouldn't just pull apart. Get what I'm trying to say? lol This one will NOT be stapled because I don't believe if I did it that way, it will hold together very well. This calendar is going to be a sturdy as I can possibly make it. I don't have professional equipment, special paper, etc in order to make stapling work. My calendar is also stapled and holds together perfectly, BUT the pages are LARGE and fold and it's stapled in the CENTER. I CAN'T do it that way with mine, or it would be a tiny calendar.

I didn't mean use a small stapler, I said like the ones that schools have or buy a long one. And yes I mean like a magazine. Maybe go to some place and get them spiral bound then.
