Hello, I haven't really been on much, sorry. There has been a butt-load of homework and swimming going on. But somehow, there is still drama and rumors and what not in my life... joy!
Imagine it: A week after homecoming, and the BIGGEST football game is coming up, bigger than homecoming. Our team against our rivals, and most importantly this game was on national TV. I was going to go and hang out with friends, have a good time joking around.
That all changed when Spencer asked me to go with him. Spencer is a wierd kid, everyone likes him but is annoyed by him at the same time. He is the theater arts teacher's son, and he is really into theater. I have a theater class with him, that's how I met him. Anyways, he has a strange personality, in groups of people he acts strange, like bipolar. One moment he will be smiley-smiley-blah-blah then he gets mad, hisses and goes into a corner and sulks. No joke, he sulks during class. Back to the rant, I said yes, deciding to give him a chance, and the day went on normally. That day after school I stayed and hung out with some theater kids, where he tells everyone that he is going to the football game with me. People assume that means we are going out. AAHH! Wrong. I get so ad of this after a while of people coming up to me asking me stuff like "So, Spencer said you were dating, really?" "I heard you and Spencer were going to a movie on halloween?" "Have ya'll kissed yet?" NO! NO! NO! I get fed up with this and go up to him demanding what he said, he said nothing like that. People assume stuff and then blab their assumptions.
We go to the football game, and it was amazing. He was honestly the sweetest guy I had been with for a long time. During the game we shared a blanket, and actually watched the game. It was really nice. The next few days, it was obvious. I liked him and he liked me. Everyone was saying "You look so cute together" "He so likes you" "You so like him". And that was true. I liked him.
Next week: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The entire week, we said probably 10 sentances to one another, that's it! Why? His best friend, Joel, hates me. Joel started a rumor that Joel and I went out last year and I only liked Spencer to get revenge on Joel. At first Spencer didn't believe Joel, they got into a huge fight and wouldn't talk. Then Spencer believed Joel and stopped talking to me. I've told Spencer that Joel lied, I've even gotten really mad at Joel, but nothing works. Sad thing is, I still really like Spencer.
