GRRRRHHHHH!!!!!
I'm really mad at the Wildblue people, and my stepdad.
First off...
I'm doing my science project, which I have to upload to youtube for, and everything, I spent a lot of time on my video! Seriously, like THREE HOURS. And I started uploading it.
It stopped.
I was kind of expecting this, as my camera is a 10 megapixel camera, so I downsized the quality, from 40(?) to 20.
It failed.
Again.
AND AGAIN
AND AGAIN!!!!

I had it down to 10 megapixels, and by that time it looked like complete cow crap (improvised word).
It won't upload...and never will.
I'm just SUPER MAD, because my stepdad acts like we're freaking living in poverty. We're not! Seriously, our house would sell for 300 grand. And he's acting like we're in the hole. He needs to make a move on this, because I'm freaking tired of this crap. The internet doesn't work in rain, not one stinking time, the bandwith usage is always an issue, and now this. I USE THE INTERNET FOR SCHOOL! Like all the time now! Ugh. This is making me so mad.
And no, I don't give a crap if I sound like I'm ungrateful. Ohkay, maybe a bit. I don't mean that he's being...Idk.
But like that AT&T internet is only...20 bucks? And ours is like...50.

I know a lot of people who had problems with that AT&T U-Verse plan; is that what you're talking about? My BIL had something that came with his Dish Network & hated it, so he switched everything over to that U-Verse. He kept it about a week. When he tried to cancel, they threatened to sue for breach of contract, etc. Very ugly. Our neighbor had it, too, and had so many failures and interruptions, we could hear him yelling all the way in our house! If you're going to switch, check out all your options!

Maybe explain to your step dad what it is you have to do for the class and ask him what can we do about it? Maybe he will see yes you do need a better plan. But also talk to your teacher, maybe you can upload it at school or show it to her on the camera?

Ah... satellite internet bites! We used to have it. Now I have AT&T DSL and I rarely have any problems at all. Sorry you're having such a hard time of it, Sawyer.

That $300,000 house could be part of the reason your step dad is 'in the hole'. Just because it's worth that much, it doesn't mean it's paid for free and clear. Grownups DO have quite a bit to worry about in the billing department sometimes.

Do you have the At&t U-Verse?

I talked to my mom about it, and she said ask him for a spare DVD or something. I did, and he came in with a whole truckload. (♥) And a jump drive, because I didn't feel like messing with WDM. DDDD: So, I just 'published to this computer' and clicked on my...K? drive. It worked, I just hope I can get it to work on the teacher's computers, so we can watch it on the new SMART BOARDS. (did I tell anybody how awesome these are?)

Are you feeling any better? I read your comment earlier, but all I could offer was a ((((((((((BIG HUGGLES)))))))))))) it just did not seem enough, so I said nothing! sorry for that, I get overwhelmed at times! I'm 52 next month, I have never owned a house(unless a caravan/trailer counts!) I hope it is all sorted now! you know we are all here for you, sometimes a simple suggestion could be the answer to your problems, WE ALL LOVE YOU COLE!

I also have AT&T DSL and I hate them. Their customer service SUCKS!!! They blame everything but themselves for your problems. It is VERY difficult to get someone to come out, unless you harass them until they do, like I do. Every time I have had them out it is something wrong on THEIR end. They make me want to SCREAM! Once my contract is up I am going to DSL Extreme

Sorry to hear you have problems Holley. I rarely ever have a problem with mine and when I do, the customer service is not bad. Maybe it depends on the area in which a person lives.

I have no clue what U-verse even is, so I guess I don't have that.

Yeah Sawyer, it's close. The time depends on traffic though.

I have heard AT&T isn't bad everywhere. in fact my Mom lives in Del Rio Texas and she says they are the BEST there. I have to admit that now that I am not wireless anymore i rarely have issues anymore.

Just got back from the dentist...who I want to stab in the gums 26 times and say YOU'RE GONNA DIEEEE...just like she did. Ugh, I have advanced, high profile, Gengevitus (sp?). She freaking STABBED me in the gums, 26 times, and they haven't stopped bleeding!
