Mail box needed

I think...

I have some shops I downloaded, but it is a community lot and has no mail box to turn it into a working residential lot. I either need to get a working mail box or maybe get someone to buy it if that would work.

I just need to be able to control the sims and use my pose boxes for the shop scene.

Just scroll down until you see the AL version. If you put the wrong version for your expansions in, it will cause issues.

Thanks Tina Have you used that yourself? I'm nervous about using a download, I'll take a dummy sim there first.

Oh yeah! I've used every version of that hack. It is perfectly safe as long as you don't have two versions in at once. After you change a lot from community to residential, just find it in buy/build mode, use the move objects cheat, and then place it by the road as usual.

I find it ridiculous that EAxis gave us the option to change types of lots, but not all the tools to finish it off properly.

Yes very annoying. If I build a community lot I always start it as a residential, then change it and hide the mail box and bin someplace just in case I want to ever change it back.

They have flamingoes for your OWBC kitchen. ;D

Well I can't find the canisters anywhere and while the mail box is there I don't see a bin. Guess I could steal one of another lot.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, Jo.

All you have to do is download the BV/Freetime version of the set and extract it your destop. You will see two files. Delete the mailbox one and put the trash bin one in your downloads folder.

No changes were made the trash can in AL, so they didn't make a new one and include it with the AL version. I should have metnioned that earlier, but I had forgotten about that.

Thanks. I saw the bin on the older set but wasn't sure about that. good to know. Seeing I have the game shut to yet again try and find the right cc for a certain male teen sim I can do it now.
