Buuuut, I think I have my last picture. Took two loads of my game yesterday, darn crashing, but it is done! Or I am done anyways. It might not be perfect but it will have to do. So I'm hoping I can finish up the writing, the text boxes, borders and Gimp touch ups today. Being too ambitious? probably.

If I had anything to report, Jo, I'd report it. Alas, I just have four families to finish playing, each with less than 24 game hours to go before I'm done with the rotation. I also have 4 out of 5 chapters written, but of course not the one chapter that's up next in my update rotation. *sigh*

Saying where you are in rotation is fine! Also you're sensible Esme you don't do borders and speech bubbles and snapon sims and rearrange them half a dozen times before taking a photo.

I worked most of the day on this thing-still not finished, but getting close. I fiddled around trying to do a montage in Gimp for far too long and I ended up doing it in Word which is much simpler. Not that they are anything great, mostly 3 pictures in a row. The rest I decided to chuck. I still have to gimp a few clothing 'holes', do some text box borders and check over my spelling and such. It might be finsihed tomorrow.

I'm the same as Esme, I don't have anything to report. I'm not going to open my game on my old laptop now, I'm waiting until this order goes through and I get my new one. But I do miss my sims...

Maybe if I had twenty readers or something Esme, but how many are going to read this chapter? Five if I'm lucky I guess. Most of my readership has dropped away over the years, and many of those people are not even around any longer. Yet here I am spending more time than ever on chapters. Which is why I will go back to picspam when all my story ends are tied up. I bet I'll have the same number of readers and pump out double the updates. If I was sure a number of people appreciated all the fancy stuff and added plot I’d keep it up, but not for a tiny handful.

I noticed that yesterday with my last chapter, I went to write some of the current chapter and thought I'd check out my last one, Slideshare has made the pictures look awful! I think they're making the full screen part of a normal internet window, so it's at a different resolution and stretched. *sigh* One of these days I'll just have to post 110 pictures straight onto LJ to keep the quality.

I've been keeping myself excited about sims by downloading stuff straight onto my external hard drive, and writing for the slides I did shoot pictures for. And I've found the laptop I want but it's taking an age to get an account sorted and get it paid for. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

I rearranged some pictures and added some text to my OWBC chapter yesterday.

Oddly I'm 59 pages into chapter 4 of the Freshnfruity Uglacy. But there are more pics to do cos I've played with 'em since then.
I'm gathering "glamor shots" of all of the contenders for the first heir poll as I go along. ;D
I also have been racking up naming themes for various generations. The next gen theme has been planned for some time, but I have 2 or 3 other lists of names, some returning themes from the original uglacy, and some new stuff! Exciting!

UPDATE: 9! Nine pages left before final edits and posting of Chapter 4; the title remains to be decided upon. Also so far there are 3, about to be 4 officially in the first heir poll, and it's expected to be under construction 'till all 10 kids are out and grown, which is not far now!

I did some more to my OWBC chapter tonight, finding some more pictures, including Oz's teen birthday (which I had forgotten I played up too!) I seem to have lost a heap I took at the club house, but oh well, we'll be down there again before I finish. I think it only needs checking over now, so yah!
