How is your story going?

I was thinking it might belong on the story board, but you can't actually post on there, only on the sub boards. Also this covers both sims 2 and sims 3 stories, so I placed it here. Feel free to move it Tina.

So to those who write sim stories, how is yours going? Do you have a current one or are you on hiatus?

I am currently working on part A of chapter 13 of my legacy, The Mobacy. I've found my chapters are coming out slower and slower as I got into doing them ploty. I also seem to be getting more serious. Although part b will be funny I hope.

I have changed so many things and thrown out a number of scenes I shot originally for this chapter. I had a whole lemonade stand scene which got chucked out in favour of a playground resturant scene (Not the food critic, that is for part B )
I shortened some of the arguments and added in some lighter stuff to try and keep a familiar mood. Not that it is dead serious...well there might always be someone dead in it But it's not right out funny either. I guess this middle ground concerns me as I see myself more of the comedy genre and don't think I do serious stuff well at all. Hopefully this middle ground is still interesting to read though.

LOL... Jo, you always worry, yet your stories always turn out better than good. I'm sure that will be the case this time too.

Well, everyone who follows my story knows that it has been quite some time since my last chapter. Many factors are keeping me from it, but I hope to get back into it soon. I'm definitely going to finish it. I just don't know when. This TS3 obsession I have has taken me over for the moment.

I have some research done for Chapter 6.5, where we'll get to know Tina's vamp, Lance. I don't have it written yet, but I have finished writing ch.6. The problem is taking all the pics I need & getting them all up on PB for ch.4 and up. I haven't had any spare time in forever to do that, and those pics take so much time! As long as dh stays out of the hospital, maybe this weekend. *fingers crossed*

Jill, I sure hope you DH stays outta that hospital, for more reasons than story-writing time. I know what you mean about the pictures taking so long, even through the usual means of the story editor. I'm sure it takes a bit more effort with PB and LJ.

Angelo? Do I have an Angelo? (Will have to check own story as I forget some of their names! ) That is the cousin with glasses, he wasn't even shown. Do you mean Nicoli or do you mean Angel?

The main blooper was that I left a pale blue pose box behind Fuzzy. I think because everyone's eye is drawn to her expression and because the witches dress hides most of the arrow that it's easy to not notice it until it's pointed out. After that it stands out like a sore thumb.

Yes that was a small blooper. When I first looked at the picture I didn't see the cast, but after I put it up on LJ I did. I only meant to show his other wrist with the black band. I guess my eyes are a bit poor and I couldn't see it on the smaller picture.

I started part two. I wrote about 5 pages worth of serious plotty stuff with Lottie that I plan to open it with. More serious plotty stuff just seems to be how these things evolve I guess. So long as I can keep the balance with something funny to lighten it as I go.

I think Uni chapter I may try to switch back to purely observational or maybe a journal or letters home from one perspective. Not sure yet.
