*sigh* I know that feeling. I've been going to the same set of doctors for three years now for the SAME issue and they have yet to figure out how to fix my problem. Not only that, it seems to be getting a bit worse. Stupid doctors! They certainly don't act like they even care much. I have another appointment next week and I plan let them know I'm not very happy with their treatment plan so far.

Aren't you on prednisone? (sp) It's supposed to be bad for you. My cousin is on the same thing because she's got chrons and some sort of weird arthritis in her knees (and she's only 20)

Oh yea ... I'm on Prednisone and it certainly is NOT good for you. I've been on it WAY too long. It also can strip the calcium from your bones and I have had to also take drugs to prevent osteoperosis, extra calcium supplements, etc. Three nows I've been taking this stuff, but it's the ONLY thing that helps ease the pain of my lousy affliction... *sigh* It has gotten quite old, I can tell you that. Before this, I was very healthy my whole life. I can only imagine the horror of having to deal with chronic illness from an earlier age.

Gees were all medicine junkies. I'm coming off mine tomorrow night, which is rather nerve wracking. I feel lucky it's never given me any of those problems.

Lol, Jo. We are medicine junkies, but responsible ones at that. I just came of my pain meds yesterday. I'm amazed that I've got little to no pain.

One good thing is I've had a bone density test and so far my bones are still doing great! ;D I guess it comes from all the milk I drink and the supplements don't hurt. I'm on Methotrexate too which is supposed to help me get off the steroids, which doesn't seem to be working too well and I still have all my hair. It ain't easy, but I try to look on the bright side. I watch all these medical shows that have people on them that have WAY worse problems than mine and it helps me to feel grateful that as bad as it sometimes seems, it could be worse. I'm glad you're past that painful stage, Nicole. Things dealing with the mouth usually heal up pretty quickly. Then the most annoying thing is the holes getting teeth pulled leave behind until they finally close up.

Hehe, that's definitely not the smlilie for sims sites, Jo!
Tina: I had no holes from teeth because they weren't through the skin yet, so they had to cut open my gums, bottom gums were cut open on the site, top were straight on that chunk of skin behind the molars. And I kinda tore a bit of the skin while it was healing by laughing too hard at Canada's Worst Drivers.
But in general, holes from removed teeth, SUCK.
