I will - I promise I'm not just here to hawk my story (I'm guessing you thought that, thus the "hopefully"). But on the other hand, I am finding that I don't really have the time to both keep up with everyone else's stories and work on mine. I will check them out and probably find a few favorites to keep up with, though.

I post on Boolprop, and I had to visit Sims 2 Writer's Guild when I saw LeapsBarnes hawking it - she had socialist as her custom title. So then I saw this place mentioned at S2WG, and I'm still looking for a real home in the Sims community so I thought I'd give this place a go. I've looked around some and it does seem pretty cool. It's like it takes the best of both Sims story worlds, challenge and non-challenge.

Don't even get me started on the legacy hate and prejudice at the non-challenge story forums. Grrrr.

I had a super awesome inspiration for my story, so I am working on it tonight. But I do promise that I will look around here during my free time and participate and be a good little forum member and comment on other people's stories and not just hawk mine. Although comments on mine are certainly appreciated.

Wow, we're practically neighbors! ;D Hey, no worries. It never even crossed my mind that you came here just to 'hawk' your stories! Besides, even if you did, that's okay with me, although it is nice to have a more active member. I always love the chance to read new stories when I have the time.

Right now, I have gotten behind on a few that have been posted up here for a while. After I catch up on them, I will definitely read and comment on yours.

We are very 'laid back' here and always welcome new folks to post with. Threads are always getting hijacked and going off-topic...lol. I know what you mean about not being able to write your own story because you are reading too many others. It happens to me constantly.

I don't know what sort of stories you like to read, but we have a good variety here. I have been writing one, actually a whole series, a saga actually..lol, for a few months now. I only have about two chapters, I think, left to go and then the exchange broke. I know I can use LJ or something else, but darn it, I want to keep the LAST TWO chapters with the rest after all this time. Grrrrr...lol. Between that, reading others' stories, and RL issues, it seems I'll never get those chapters done.

Ah well, them's da breaks...lol. As far as legacies/challenges go, I never really used to read legacies until I started reading Joandsarah's and then I got hooked...lol. We are not prejudiced against any story genre here. We'll read them all!

Again, it's really great to have you here! Hopefully, you have found your 'home'.

Yay! I ramble too, so I don't mind.

Statesville is like exactly halfway between Charlotte and Mount Airy, so I've driven through the four or so exits you guys have on 77 quite a bit.

I do tend to over-interpret social things a lot and get all worried that other people are mad at me when they're not.

Man - I did end up taking the pictures for the first scene of the next update, and then I was totally stuck on the writing. Until now, when I have to go bed. Stupid brain.

Anyway - thank you. And yes, this place does look pretty cool so far. I really like it being a mixture of all sorts of genres.

Wow... it's pretty cool to know a fellow simmer living so close. I thought I was the only one, besides my daughters! Yeah, four big exits... ain't we grand? lol

You know, sometimes brains seem to work that way. Now you'll have trouble falling asleep because the story is in your head!

I have parts of my story run through my head at odd moments. I know pretty much what I want to do with the rest of mine, but I am unable to actually sit down and write it at the moment. *sniff*
