This may need to go into the Game Room, I'm not sure. Anyway, seeing as we are always sharing our personal life stories, I thought I could bake make a topic where we could just share a few random stories! This'll probably go down in flames, but it was worth the shot. You can share any kinda story you want, just make sure it's appropriate for minors (me, Pixx, Haily, Sarie?, etc.) I'll start with a funny one, haha! I was watching this show on the Discovery Channel or something like that, maybe TLC. Anyway, it was about extreme towns. They had one "earth ship" town, where all the houses were made of garbage and crap (no pun intended). Then, the next one was some Vedic City in Iowa (Captain Kirk's state!!!!!). The people there were scary! All the kids wore white button up shirts with gold ties, black pants or dresses, and no hats. They had a meditating period for first hour, which got them all "calm." And by calm I mean, between high and drunk! They adults had two mandatory meditating periods a day, and again, they were like high! Nobody laughed, frowned, or showed any emotion other than the ones seen in a cult. ;D So, yeah, crappy story, but I had to share something to get you guys started.

Well, that was very interesing, Sawyer! Hmm, we are definitely always sharing personal experiences here. Usually new threads are started for them, but it wouldn't hurt to toss a few in here. I think I've shared most of my recent personal experiences already in other threads, so I'm sort of fresh out right now because my brain can't think of any past ones right now, but I'm sure I will. Right now I am getting for company to arrive

Personal experiences Like what? Child birth? I don't know quite what you are after, I am drawing a blank!. lol...I was thinking on those same lines. What kind of personal experiences are you seeking to hear of? I'm sure it won't be child birth though. I'm honestly a bit confused by this topic choice

Uhh... Personal experience of mine, me and bikes don't get along... LIKE..... When I was 10, I was riding my bike downhill from school and I was swinging my feet happily and all of a sudden, I got my foot between that main bar and the spokes, well that stopped my bike immediately, I flipped forward and did a somesault my face at the pavement, I sprained both wrists, had the biggest fat lip I had ever seen... my bike was gibbled, the brake pad was underneath the rim so I had to push my bike the last 2 blocks home, bleeding and stuff. Then I had dance exams the next day, and boy did I go to them. Another personal experience of mine... Coveralls catch on fire quite easily, so do jeans. Welding has been an interesting experience, while doing one of my final exams for school, I was welding along with the torch and it got a little too close to my sleeve and it caught on fire, another time during a different exam, I was cutting bevels in steel slabs and my foot started getting a bit warm, no big deal. I finished the cut and turned the torch off... Foot was still warm, I look down and my shoe was smoldering a little bit, along with my welding FOOT PROTECTING LEATHERS. I was the only kid at school to catch those on fire. Heh.

OMG Nicole! I have had a similar bike accident experience.
When I was in 6th grade...11?... I was riding my bike to school on a busy street. The front wheel fell off and I hit the ground and slid a couple of feet. no one stopped to help and NO ONE was home. So I had to put my bike back together and ride about a mile to my best friends house, whose parents....luckily...were still home. It turns out I knocked my front two teeth out and the side of my face was HAMBURGER!

Omg, you guys, sorry to laugh at your pain, but that was hilarious! I can just imagine a happy little girl swinging her legs humming to herself, then BANG! I'm sorry.....lol. Jo, Sue, you know, like those experiences *points up*. Something that doesn't necessarily needs a new thread.

So you want my bicycle accident story hmm. Ok I got a new bike the Christmas I was 10 and I was keen to try it down our road which is a steep hill, we luckily lived 2/3 down, not at the top. One of the kids who lived at the top split his head open going down no hands...But I degress. So I went off and apparently the steering nut or something needed to be tightened and the steering went on me and it wobbled everywhere and I kind of came off and skidded in a circle around on the road with the bike on top of me. This was of course before kids wore helmets. The hand brake went into my leg. I had to pull it out and luckily the neighbor came out and drove me back up the hill. I still have a very small silvery scar on my leg from it.

Ouch, Jo! Good thing your neighbor was there! One of my bike experiences was on "Grant's Trail." It's a no-motor-vehicles road that is in Saint Louis. Anyway, since there are no motor vehicles allowed, the city put up these three-foot post/barrier to insure the pedestrian's safety. I was tooling along with my parents, and all of a sudden, BAM! I hit one of the posts with my handlebars! I went head over heels onto the pavement with a giant splat! There was a guy right behind me, and he had to stomp on his bike breaks to avoid hitting me, which I think caused another dude to crash into him. I wasn't severely injured, just kind of dumbstruck. The worst that happened was that my wrist was a little sore. The same thing happened to me on my street (other house) when I hit a car with my scooter. And I've ridden down a gravel hill backwords in a go-cart with no breaks. I should be a Nascar driver, shouldn't I?!

Haha, not if you crash! This happened today, and it was hilarious. So, I'm an aide at this summer art camp for little kids. Some of the other aides and I were eating lunch in the kitchen, which is strictly Aides Only. This girl that only one guy recognizes (because she is in his group) walks in with her nose high in the air. She is sniffing the air, and she walks up to the girl next to me and says "Do you have peanut butter?" She doesn't wait for an answer, she just starts smelling the aide's lunch bag. The aide is sorta shocked, but she says "No." Then after the girl left and everyone was done laughing, I get a piece of gum from her lunch bag. The girl sees that I got gum, and walks back in and demands gum like "Give me some gum!" In a whiny voice. She leaves, and we bust out laughing cause it was all so random!
