What's your grandmother's computer like?

Wow! Power on! AS I said before my moms PC is tragic,lame, disgraceful, not worth desk space & a waste of space!(got it Sawyer?) She asks my brother to pick out a PC for her, & he asks me to help him pick out a PC! In fact the whole family asks him to pick out their PC's But he said he trust my savvy over a sales mans/womans(please excuse me but we can get into trouble for being sexist,so I always Have to put both in a convo!) & I am the only one he can talk Puter with! or games for that matter(he has been trying to get me to do the artwork on his new game,but my son wants me to do the artwork on his! ) So use oldies are savvy, when it comes to PC's but our parents missed out, my mom is 72! & always asking for PC help!her PC is a glorified List!

My mom is rather good with a computer. OK, my mom kinda trained me to be computer literate, of course I'm curious and mess around with all kinda stuff on the computer (my crap box can't support TS3 but I'm probably gonna get a new one this summer anyway and this one can be my shrine to TS2) and I've got Tina's tutorials to fall back on so I'm rather good with a comp myself

...Uh...I'm scared. My mom is agreeing with everything I say without putting up a fight. First I asked her for the expansion packs and she agreed, i told her my uncle got sims 3 and it's not compatible with my computer and she agreed to let me get a new one OMG!!!

What do you think about this? I'm sticking with Sony.

I love it! dual core, with Vista! it is not a bad little Lap-top!though I would ask Harley to have a look! (that place is the same as our K-Mart!) it seems to have everything you need for Sims 3!

LOL! Hey, Gillian... my mom can't even use all the features on her cell phone. She only knows how to answer it and make phone calls!

Nice laptop Pixx! There's only one thing I think I'd change about it. Hunt for one that has something more than onboard graphics. That one looks like it will work for The Sims 3, but it will run considerably slower than a laptop with an actual graphics card. You can find them on sale for about the same price as that one if you shop around.

My mom doesn't have a computer, so when someone emails me a joke she'd like, I have to print it off, then snail mail it to her! Lol! We have a hard time getting her to use her cell phone. It's a miracle she can even charge it! I won't even talk about the DVD burner/VCR combo she bought herself when she sold her house.
