What is your sim self up to?

No, I can be doing anything. This time it froze on the beach on the BV Island lot at my hotel. But I previously sent that old sim bin couple there no problem. It also crashed on day two of Blyths BC. Again no reason that I could see. I wasn't placing or using cc at the time. Both lots have cc on them and have run fine other times.

So because my story telling folder wont sort by date anymore (Totally separate to photobucket) I am having to empty all 12 chapters out because I can't find a picture I need for this grilled cheese sim contest I am doing on BP. *sigh* I have been at this for more then 4 hours now.

awww,Jo.I remember that my game crashed so much it got to the point where i actually had to reinstall my game and risk losing EVERY CC on there and i couldn't finish my old stories that i wish i could of finished.

Sometimes, Jo, a bad clothing or hair mesh can make your game freeze or crash. All it takes is for the sim who is wearing to enter the lot, even if you don't notice it. It's possible a walk-by sim is crashing your game.

I know the crack isn't causing it though, because Crissie has the same setup that I have and her game never crashes either.

Yeah,on my old PC,I had like ten corrupted downloads.I didn't know what it meant but i knew it was part of the cause that kept on crashing my game.I knew it had to do something with little space on my computer and the fact that my old PC was just stupid.

computers are weird.

i threatened my old PC so much,i do think that's why it crashes on me! Then when i start talking to my computer nicley,it works! no,seriously! it does work.

Well, I opened it up to fix their house up a bit. It takes a LOT of beds for sixteen sims to sleep! But that's all I did so far, besides getting Pixx into her dream-career of gaming.

Jo, have you tried deleting the big four files? That helped me with my crashes. You know, the Cigen, Content registry, Groups Cache, and Accessories Cashe?

Well I did that last time the game wouldn't run, when was that about two weeks ago now? I guess that is always something to worth doing regularly. I tend to forget which ones apart from the cache ones.

It's actually ALL the 'loose' files directly inside your sims 2 folder. All the rest are in folders.

Heck, I have to delete my groups.cache every few times I play anymore, or the stupid game won't load! I think there is something in my downloads folder that the game just doesn't like..lol. It keeps corrupting that stupid file.
