Ok so I don't know wassup or why he beat Rihanna down. I respect him as an artist and a dancer but beating your girl is just wrong.

HOWEVER! I'm a fan and I must say right now I'm on his side. I mean, come on? What Caribbean Queen calls the cops? You beat that mofo and show him who's the boss in the relationship!

I feel sorry for the guy because I look at it like this. Here's this nineteen year old who rocked the music world for the last two or so years, he's like an infant in the world of stars and like normal teen guys he wants an older girlfriend (bonus accent). Who knows what happened in that car? His mother is probably not sure where to put herself right now because she's still his biggest fan and his number one adviser. We've watched Chris Brown grow and this shocker is just...well, a mess.

Also...MAN I WANNA KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!!! I think I'm changing my major to journalism. My mother will KILL ME!

Drinking was involved they were on their way...somewhere from a pregrammy party. Rihanna is smart she knows that in america she can call the police cause it's all women's rights and what not. If that were somewhere in the Caribbean she would have straight up punched his lights out.

I have no reason to but I'll take his side until they figure out what's really going on. Only then will I change sides.

ARRRGGG! I can't believe she let him, I would have beat him up side his head with my heels, I know she was wearing heels. Then she should have sprayed perfume in his face, know that's what was in her purse, then bite him back, on the side of his face. Finally, punch him in the nose and ran for her life.

I haven't heard the details yet - and I missed Entertainment Tonight, so now I won't get the scoop until tonight or tomorrow! I don't think it's ever right for a man to hit a woman - he should either restrain her or walk away if she's the instigator. That being said, I have seen some woman who really ask for it, either by starting the physical fighting, or pushing and pushing a man until he snaps - and by that I mean deliberately provoking him, knowing the outcome. I don't know much about either one of them on a personal level, but I sure hope it's a lesson learned for them both. *steps down from soapbox*

This is what I think went down. Maybe they broke up right and Rihanna wanted to get back at him so she made him angry. And him being a guy with all the testosterone and macho-ness had to loose his cool and hit her. So because we're so cute and most people hate to see us cry, that's exactly what she did. Cause come on, she didn't have to press charges but she did. If they were still 'in love' she wouldn't have pressed charges.

I'm not on the side of any man who beats up a woman. I don't care who he is, even though like Jilly said, some women do provoke it in the first place. There is usually the option of just walking away, unless of course someone is physically stopping you from doing so.

Living here & in Florida, I just want to say, Pixx I have met & still know Bahmaha Momma's, they are the best people you would ever want to know! I will tell you what, you don't mess with them when ther MAD! WOO WEEE, I think Pixx your that mad. See here you can't get away with hitting another person, (In some cases even a spank is jail time!) How ever the police has evidence that she was abused, the abuser will go to jail! I think she pushed him to the point that there was a hands on fight! I have been there, I know how easy it is to get to that point. They will sort it all out & then we will all know the truth!

Hey maybe she grabbed him by the shirt or something. One thing with Caribbean women, some of us are conniving. Now not getting up on those from Barbados or anything but they're the worst when it comes to getting a man back, Jamaicans will just blow his head off n get back to life

Women of every race and creed can be conniving. It doesn't matter where you come from, people will be people...lol. I always try my best not to start fights, but if one arises, I always do my best to finish it!

You know people can argue all day lond, no one has a right to physically attack anyone. No man should ever strike a woman, yet on the same token, if a woman doesn't want to be hit she shouldn't hit. Where I live there are women who were being abused and fought back, sometimes to the point of killing to get away, and though they had called the police countless times they were the ones facing prison time. I do not condone taking a life, but what do you do if someone is trying to take yours, and you can't get away?
