pregnancy hack (clothing)

Until recently I was using squinge's pregnancy wear anything or something like that so my pregnant sims didn't have to wear these awful maxis maternity clothes. Even if it was updated for AL I had some little problems with it, but I could easily live with it as long as my sims could wear nice clothes while pregnant. The problem was that I couldn't use AL closets. Annoying but livable.

I read about another hack that permitted to do the same and Tina recommended it so I downloaded it. But it's not working very well either because all the stupid sims keep changing their clothes if there is a dresser nearby. This is totally annoying! It's driving me insane!

Grr stupid thing won't let me write more.. Anyway I am annoyed with that hack too. So I was wondering if someone know another hack for pregnant sims so they can wear cute clothes?

Hey Mae, I don't know what else is in your game to make that happen, but it doesn't happen in my game. I don't know why it's doing that. Did you install any other hacks by Dizzy? Or do you have any other hacks that have to do with dressers or changing clothes?

I KNOW its not Dizzy's hack doing it by itself because like I said, it does NOT do that in my game. Try taking all your other hacks out, leaving the pregnancy one in and see if it's still doing it. If you figure out which hack is causing that to happen, you could get rid of it if you are totally set on keeping whatever it is.

Sorry, but I dont know of any other hacks that deal with pregnancy and wearing regular clothing.

yours don't make that??? strange mine is written auto change. Maybe I made a mistake when I downloaded it?? I don't think I have another hack by Dizzy. Well I'll try re-re-reinstalling it again otherwhise I'll take off all my hacks. And no I don't have another hack that have to do with dressing ... oh wait yeah I do. forgot about that one. gonna check. It was written no incompatibility probs with pregnancy wear hack but now that I think about it I don't believe it ... :s hehe thanks for reminding me of it!!

Well I hope you figure it out.

The auto-change part is supposed to be for 'mysteriously naked' sims..lol Here is the the readme for it:

auto-change-and-pregnant-normal: Mysteriously naked sims can autonomously change back to Casual using any available dresser. This also permits pregnant sims to wear any category outfit.

So, it seems to me that something else is going on for sure to make your pregnant sim change like that.

not only pregnant sims. every single one of them! strangers come into my house to change their outfit!!!! scary

Oh no! Well, you definitely have something else going on in your game besides just this hack. Hmmm, I wonder if it has something to do with your ACR? For sure though, something is causing that to happen. Seriously you should put nothing but this hack in and see if stops doing that.

I have been using this hack for months and had nothing like that happen. Before this, I was using the Freetime version. Are you sure you have the correct version of this hack in? If not, that could be the problem too.

I downloaded it on maty and it was saying AL. The problem doesn't come from the thing I thought because I removed it. Let's try ACR (cross finger it's not the problem!!! hehe)

The pregnancy hack doesn't come from MATY. It's by Dizzy and comes from The Laden Swallow.

yeah hehe silly me.... anyway I refound it and you are right I made a little mistake here (which explains why it took me forever to find it back :s) I took off ACR, lucky me it wasn't the problem! ouf hehe still haven't found the evil hack

So... if you have the correct version and it's not ACR causing the problem. Here's what you do:

Leave the pregnancy hack in and half your other hacks and see if the problem is still there. If it is, then take half of those hack out and check again. Just keep doing that until you narrow it down.

If the problem isn't there after the first step above, take those hacks out and put the other half in an try it. Then you proceed as above until you find it. It is quite frustrating, but it is the only way to figure out what is causing your problem. Chances are it is another hack that has to do with clothing or pregnancy. Without an organized downloads folder, it is harder to find out, but not impossible. If you have hacks just tossed loosely into your main downloads folder, it makes the problem MUCH harder to find because it's all mixed in with all your other cc.

lucky me I arranged my folder last week or the week before, don't remember so I have a special folder for my hacks and I don't have as much as I thought I had. I'll do what you said tomorrow. Now I'm going to try my new video game (for school purposes of course!! believing that helps my conscience hihihi)
