hehehe life would be so complicated if we had to understand why it works...
you guys have a DVR? I'm stuck with my stupid VCR ... oops shouldn't say that he is watching me suspiciously and I don't want him to break anytime soon .... hehe

lucky mine still work then hehe, should buy a dvd recorder but too expensive for me right now :s one day! Our DVR is through our cable provider. It's like $10 or $15 a month. Hold on i'll go check...... Of course I can't find a statement right now. Blast me and my 4 neat points!  |

We bought it and a full warrenty for it I think from the Sat. company..... The rental is five bucks a month.... But its HD and you have to include that for another 5 bucks a month....... Then the 5 bucks a month for free maintance.... But it sure is nice to pause live TV and record shows to see later.... Our oldest records all the Days shows while off at college and wayches them when she comes home for weekends.....  |

wow if I want the same thing you guys have (I mean the recorder with the cable) the machine costs 500$ (well that was the price 3 years ago...) I'll save for a dvd recorder instead. A LG is 200$ around here

I live in montreal where everything is way too expensive. And I have cable, but with more channels than regular cable because we have a special device. The thing is called Illico.
