Photoshop

I have been doing a little research... seems that if you have a child in k-12 you can get the student price for the software... :-)

so... my question is... does anyone know if this is the full version with all the bells and whistles or is it like Microsoft Office student version where some of the parts are missing?

Hey, I have that one and it has everything. The only difference I can tell is that you can only install it on one computer instead of several.

Believe me... this version has ALL sorts of stuff included to confuse you and baffle your mind!

I heard with CS4 you can do animation. I must have it, eventually hehe. My comp is already loaded with all the crap we need for school :s

Oh yea! You can do more with program than I'll ever learn how to do!

as long as you can exploit everything you need to make amazing covers and whatever you want to do that's great

I like your covers! You work on them hehe I only add the title haha so I'm not the one who can actually say : hey that cover is crap! (unless it's only the family pic that appears automatically when you create a new family)

Yea, those default family pics suck as covers...lol. Well, playing in Photoshop is definitely more fun than organizing a downloads folder!

I guess it depends what you have to do in photoshop Having to rearrange a pic to use it for work isn't fun. It's long and you need to be extra precise

I'm going to keep my eyes open and see if there is a photoshop course I can take... you know a seminar kind of thing rather than a class :-)

hmmm I live near Dartmouth college... wonder if I can find someone who could come tutor me at home?... *taps index finger on chin*

you can always try the books to learn photoshop. I heard there are a lot of acitivities in them to learn to do things. Someone told me some of the things we learned at school came from that kind of books hehe

There are also some movie illustrations you can watch, although I always forget what they did right after I'm done watching them.

Yea I know...lol. LOTS of crap! But the videos I was talking about are right on the Adobe site. There are videos that cover several different things you can do with CS4, but like I said, I forget what they did and how they did it right after the video is over.
