don't tell me! the other day I was searching an easy word... I couldn't remember how to say closet in english (it's one of a million!! I remember once it took me 10 minutes to remember fireplace!!!  hehe |

Sheesh Mae, don't be so hard on yourself. I don't even KNOW how to say, spell, or anything else, closet or fireplace in French! English is the ONLY language I speak, write, or anything. I think you do great, especially writing in English as well as you do. I should have learned a second language when I was younger. Now I can barely keep up with my own!

hehe let's just say we don't have a choice here. Even though we are supposed to be served in french everywhere there are a lot of english speaking people. I learned spanish in high school but forgot almost everything about it because I knew no one who spoke spanish at the time. Now I have a friend from Peru :s Someday I'll learn german. I already know some words but not much hehe I learned latin too in high school but again forgot absolutely everything (not that it served anyway! hehe)

Well, poor ol' me is just doomed to be one-language person now. I just don't have the inclination to learn a whole new language at this point in my life....lol. I was going to take Spanish in school when I entered 7th grade, but then we moved (again) to a different state where they didn't have spanish.

oh that's bad. I was going to take german in cegep (after high school before uni we are the ionly ones in the world to have that I'm sure!) but I took computer instead hehe (already had that class in high school so I had good grades hehe) after I wanted to do it in uni but it was an whole year and I didn't want to be stuck with a semester with 6 classes so I took history of germany instead. But I really want to learn german because I love old german movies.
