It is a fun challenge. I always have fun playing them. If you got the CC it is so real looking. Now I just need to find some outwear that looks appropriate. They keep putting them on and it is messing up my pictures. I am having to cheat a bit and put the furs back on.

Outerwear is a pain. I used some medieval outerwear. Not real good.

Hey, you could open up bodyshop and go to create parts. Choose your furs and then make them available for outerwear. You don't have to do anything else to them. It will cause another copy of them to be in your downloads folder, but if you make them available for all categories, you can get rid of the orginal at that point. I have never created a thing in my life for the sims, but I had to do that for my story to keep Donovan in his regular clothes for his meditation scene. If I can do it, I know anyone else can. I tried to do it first in SimPE because I've re-categorized clothing in there before, but this time it wasn't working for some reason and I got desperate...lol

You can do that?! Make everyday available as outer wear? How do you "make them availble"?

It worked for me...lol. When you recolor an article of clothing, it gives you the option to pick what categories you want if for. *shrug* It was actually an experiment for me because I had never even messed around in there before, but like I said I was desperate! So I just pretended like I was going to do a recolor, but actually did nothing but pick the categories for the the clothing and when I went back into the game, I was able to buy Donovan the new version of his outfit which was also in athletic wear so that his clothes wouldn't change when he meditated.

Just open up body shop, go into create parts and play around. It's what I did and I had never even tried doing a recolor before. Just select the outfit you want to change and play with the buttons and you'll see what you need to do. Be bold! Dare to challenge yourself! EDIT: All you do is select create parts, start new project, and then three choices will appear. You then select the clothing option. At this point you will be able to scroll through your oufits until the one you want appears. Once you select it and select 'export textures and then name your project, you can click on all the categories you want your clothes to appear in. Then you click 'import into game' and you're done. Pretty darned simple really...lol. Of course the current ones you have on your sims will be the wrong ones. You'llhave to buy them a set of the new ones so they can use them for the categories you chose.

Don't feel bad Jo, I've gone into it once or twice, but backed out of it everytime! Just call me Chicken, Bock, Bock!
