I'm not sure. I think we're talking about the Matrix somehow.
The computer takes over and everyone thinks that they are living, but they aren't. The main character comes out of this, and somehow joins this group that fights the computer software. That sounds familiar?

The second one had too many sex scenes. I was watching it with my dad, and it was very awkward.
