I like grocery shopping. Especially if it is a nice store with LOTS of food....I could spend ALL DAY looking at spices and cheese!

I like shopping for my kids, although a lot of it I do online. Now if they had a Gymboree shop over here I could be in there for hours.

*raises eyebrow* You actually LIKE grocery shopping, Holley? Wow, I wish we were neighbors. I'd have you go for me! Gymboree? Never heard of that Jo. What sort of store is that?

Lol it's an American brand of childrens clothes. We have nothing so nice over here. I just bought a boxload at the black Friday sale plus an online coupon and I got them 50% off. Now if only the exchange rate would be better it would be cheap. Still a resonable deal, even after postage it works out about $25 per item. We pay $40 for a nice pair of girls jeans here! I'm a bit of a kids clothes junkie

Ah, I see. Well there is nothing like getting good deals when shopping. Those are some pricey jeans for someone who's just going to outgrow them soon! When my girls were little and growing fast, I used to like to browse around the second-hand stores for their clothes. You can find some very nice things there that seem practically new for little kids because they do grow so quickly. Of course now, they are picky and want expensive new things. My eldest has a job and has money saved in the bank that she doesn't want to spend for some reason. So she still expects us to pay for those things she doesn't want to buy. The little miser needs to let go of some of that cash now and then...LOL

When my girls were little and growing fast, I used to like to browse around the second-hand stores for their clothes. You can find some very nice things there that seem practically new for little kids because they do grow so quickly. We live in a country town, good second hand deals are like hens teeth. Use to sometimes get them when she was small, but I am very picky about clothes. Now she is into the 7-14 range shopping at most places gives me a hurnia! I won't buy most girls shorts, I have to really hunt for something with at least a bit of leg to it. Even target jeans are about $30, but unless they have an ajustable waist there a total waste of money as they fall off! I thought last year I got a good deal on an $18 pair from a clothing outlet in the city...except the stiching around the waist was some kind of stiff stuff and had prickly points And the shoes... don't get me started.

LOL... well any way you look at it, those kiddies can get expensive. Just wait until they start telling you what they are willing to wear. I long for the days when I could dress my girls in frilly dresses and put their hair in pigtails. *sigh*

It is once they're teens. Then in order to get them to wear what you want them to, you'll have to pretend that you hate it...
